Every work is not hourly in US that I know about. I own a company and offer job to people that pays by the job as a need basis. For example, you can go to home depot and pick up people to help with project and pay them when they are done. To say people can't work beyond 20 hours a week is ignorant to say the least.
There is nothing criminal to help other shove snow or pave driveway and get paid. Nobody cares if its one hour, 100 hours it takes you to finish the job. Everybody does it. Americans, Mexicans and Africans. Your comment suggest you either still in Niaja or live in glass bubble in abroad.

this is what has led many to depression, death, dropping out etc. in countries like UK and Canada where u are only allowed 20 hours a week work as a student plus high cost of living/ unemployment rate. U go just suffer for nothing.

In most developed countries Its a criminal offence to pay for work visa plus majority of them are scams. See these one below that scammer their fellow Nigerians for UK COS. Una go wise by force

But, majority of them will not hear.

So how is work visa gotten?
Eniolohunda:

Work visa you say? Do you understand the meaning of work visa? Or you think a country will just give you work visa without you having any job in the country?

Is work permit different from work visa?
Ashirioluwa:

To fully comprehend the OP question, you might need to read the post again.

He wants to go somewhere where he can easily obtain a work permit.

My brother, work permits are not “EASY” to get in those 2 countries you mentioned when you arrive with a visitor visa.

Let's assume he has the entire N10m, that's just above 6k Euros/ $6500. This is a small amount of money when it comes to traveling to major countries like US, UK, Canada or Australia... Especially if your friend doesn't want to get stuck over there on a tourist visa.

Perhaps Brazil or even Portugal might be within reach for him, so those are the countries he can relocate to conveniently with such an amount, but then language is an issue cos he/she must be able to learn Portuguese for both countries.

Maybe try South Africa as well...
how can any sane person be recommending south Africa for someone in 2025?

A 30 years old with 10m naira is a big boy.

I don't know how desperate he is. I would chose Mexico and sneak into USA because deportation is far less under Republicans (they only make noise while the Democrates work silently).

Mexico is also a great country for remote job, you might be tempted to stay and not even try USA.

If you enter 🇺🇸 illegally, be rest assured that you will not get PR. cool

With the said amount you can move to Portugal on work visa, am 100% sure of that, but tell him to make sure he has an hand work or learn one before going.

With that he can work and renew his stay
