Your ignorance is deep. You think it is harder to buy a US designed car in the US than in Chile?

Based on the average income and available credit, the chances are higher in the countries you mentioned except europeans do not have a fancy for large US cars

In the first 2 years, most people are still not balanced enough to do this. Most of them still looking for paperwork to enable them work, and those that have the paperwork are still finding ways to blend into the system.

Credit is not built in a day. You have to be in the system, have papers and working to be able to build your credit or buy things on credit.

Skill issue probably. A colleague of mine that dropped out of university and went to the USA bought a brand new latest model Mercedes within a year of him being in the states. The same person has a rolls Royce and a Lamborghini now and I am older than him by 2 years.

Which work Dey Finland 😂😂. Na mistake you use add that one there or what. Nigeria is even better than Finland o.

There are so many Tech jobs in Finland actually & they pay well comparable to Germany, The only issue is that the place is super cold like Russia.

If you check LinkedIn & Glassdoor for title "Software Engineer", you'd see so many job openings.

You can confirm yourself by doing that now.

abi tech jobs no day there

Salaries in Estonia are very low, I wouldn't go there. Apart from Finland, I wouldn't advise going to any other Nordic country based on job experience.

Then your colleague is a mafia!

Even if your colleague is in tech, tech roles are controlled by mafia hiring managers who control tech jobs and they give these roles to their mafia colleagues even though they cannot do the tech job but they get protected by thier mafia colleagues in the organisation.

Language and racism is a big factor there.

Finland is europes most easternly country at the northern hemisphere, they are not used to having coloured people or high level of migration there and you may need to learn their language to get a good job. Fluency in the language is a key factor in finland.

You are likely better of in germany or holland as they have a high level of migration from countries with coloured people and many multinational companies that would hire a fluent english speaker with limited knowledge of the local language.

I know a nigerian who had to relocate to another country after many years trying to break into the white-collar economy.

Youre still displaying ignorance.

There is a UK mortgage section in nairaland. Many people there including myself bought a house through a mortgage within 2-3 years.

Do you think mortgages are issued without a credit history and deposit?

Do you believe people who are buying houses woukd struggle to buy a car?

The other countries you mentioned are better economies than the UK whose economy is small and largely stagnating, so if it is possible in the UK, how much more large and vibrant economies like the US?

You are using the experience of people on student visas doing 20hours a week minimum wage jobs in the UK to paint the whole block. Some of them are still paying their tuition, living expenses and sending money to family members in Nigeria based on the 20hrs a week min wage job.

There is likely no where in the world where you will be expected to buy a car when on a student visa, paying tuition from a minimum wage job for which you can only work 20hrs a week maximum.

a lot of Europeans and Americans travel to china, few return , most get married and stay there

If in the 90s I would agree that, US and UK are first world and China is third world because at the time china was shittier than India

Trump will ruin the US till it becomes shittier than ever

In Helsinki the capital of Finland, all of them speak English along with their mother tongue so I really do not see the problem. In Germany too once you leave Berlin, you have to start speaking German.

Try to avoid “my friend said” or “someone said”, google out and research this information by yourselves. Go to Reddit and ask Africans who live in Finland, they will tell you. Even in places like UK, to break into white collar economy is very hard. It is hard every where. I am not pro-Finland but it’s a top economy for jobs, that’s all.

My point is mostly based on those that traveled with student or visitor visas.

The man in question moved to Chile in late 2023 as a student, but in 2025 he was able to buy a brand new car.

Whatever he is doing in chile is definitely not something a regular student does.

Else, chile would have a per capita income higher than most countries in the world. You need to read in between the lines.

See the screenshot of a post from a young white Canadian with a Bachelor of Engineering - BE Computer Software Engineering, with previous experience at Apple but for over a year now cannot find work. he has made over a thusand job applications. He was even been interviewed for a Senior Developer role by a Junior Developer, asking about irrelevant technologies.

You are the one playing with your life. You posted this shit below like money grows on trees in the USA. You don't tell the truth here that it is through mafia connections most people are getting well paying tech or any other jobs not seriously regulated. People with a degree in computer science/software engineering/computer engineering with the right skills who are the best people for software development jobs are not getting programming jobs but self taught without a degree or a degree in other fields are the ones getting most of the well paying programming roles through mafia connections, this is the reason most software projects are failing in many organisations.
Even Data Science roles indeed will say: equivalent combination of education and experience: meaning they will accept several years of relevant work experience as qualified.

Only Doctors, Pharmacists, nurses, pilots and others in a well regulated field can easily get well paying jobs like you make getting a well paying job sound so easy to get.

People will always find excuses to validate their inadequacies. That is life. Even doctors aren’t finding it easy. The other day on twitter Nigerian trained doctors in the uk who have passed plab 1 and 2 were complaining it staying 1 to 2 years without a job. Like I said keep on playing with your life and looking for excuses to validate your failures. A black man came to chile without being fluent in the language and was able to get a job in the national bank in less than a year and able to get a permanent contract with a fat salary and it’s USA I won’t make it where I speak the same language and have the skill set 😂😂

lol I did uber eats and I am proud to say it because I didn’t come to chile with enough money. While I was doing that, I was interviewing with various companies. I had interviews with faang companies like Amazon and Cisco here. My first interview a week after entering Chile was with IBM and Accenture. January last year I got an offer for 80000 euros annually in Spain. I left it cause I knew I will still get an offer in chile. Like I said keep on playing. Very soon it’s gonna be a rolls Royce I will have 😂😂😂

When I started learning programming here on Nairaland. People said the same that it’s bad that there’s no job there’s no this there’s no that. Then there wasn’t even ChatGPT. I used to post questions on Nairaland and others will help me to solve them. Check my older posts from 2020. Before I left Nigeria I was making over 2 million naira a month. I wasn’t a small boy in anyway. I came here and I am making more 😂😂😂
