Legalization of documents depends on school, some schools allow you to apply before legalizing while some you have to legalize before you apply, verification of Bsc and transcript at the embassy is free so it comes with is own challenges if care is not taking it might take 10months process and that's why the embassy don't accept original of Bsc certificate and transcript they will only see it and ask you to submit the photocopy and where the issue is that it has to go through NUC, that's where the delay do come from except you have someone on the inside at NUC that can assist you with the fast track
I’m really confuse here . Then how come people have been saying on these thread that they charge at the embassy to legalise your documents .

Try to understand the process of legalization
Authentication
Verification
Legalization

Verification of Bsc certificate and transcript is free, is after verification the embassy will now call you for legalization and legalization fee is €20 per document

It means legalization of Bsc certificate and transcript will cost me €40 at Portugal embassy

You will pay for verification of Waec and transcript ranging from 200k-300k depending on the state you sch. That of Hnd and Nd holders is 250k for verification at the embassy, but that of Bsc and its transcript are free, But you you will need appointment to submit for verification/Legalization.

Let me add to it verification fee of marriage certificate depends on the region where the marriage certificate is been issued, the appointment aspect is even the easiest

Good evening bro!

In a scenario where schools say they don’t give transcript copies to students, how do I go about the verification?

Do you have the student copy you collected from your sch, if you do it will be accepted.

Well, I am aware you are an agent and you know a number of things. However, advise people to get the original transcript but not the student's copy of transcript. Student's copy of transcript was once rejected in my presence inside the embassy after wasting money and effort to authenticate at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There is a way original transcript can be collected. Just let your university address it to an address where you will be able to possess it. That's all.

When i did my it was student copy that i used, but it depends on how your student copy is and who attend to you at that day at the embassy.
And i also know some of them know how to go true it in getting it accepted as long as it is from your school, even my friend use her student copy too..so it depends may on lots of factors..i did sent my student copy to this guy and they confirmed it will fly before i proceed and it was so, i never had issues at the embassy during submission for verification/legalisation.

I do advice student to obtain their transcript directly through using ministry address to request for their transcript, but in regards to Portugal, student copy is accepted, their different classes of student copy, sometimes I do advised and request to see their student copy first, their many things that make some difference and unique from others which make Embassy to accept them. This is because some sch the process and method of getting the other copy is difficult and time consuming.
Among the ones i guided non them was reject, May you didn't follow proper guidance like some of you do, like we see at the embassy often, May be that may be part of the reason your own was rejected.
Student copy transcript are of different categories.

Pls house , the application fee in Portugal universities is it per course Or is per school . For example if I’m applying for university of Porto and the application fee is 55 euros , is it for Just one course alone in that same school or I can apply for like 2 courses for as long as I have paid the application fee. Please I need clarity on this .
