The song nobody has ever heard and the same rumours they used in turning it into Igbo coup. Nothing new
what about the issue of Igbos mocking northerners according to ibb book?
Re: Igbo Coup: My Perspective by ValarDoharis: 4:15pm On Feb 26
Thats why Igbos want Biafra so they can leave Nigeria for Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis.

Question is why are you resisting Biafra?
Softmirror:
The 1966 coup is like saying 2022/23 Obidient movement is not an Igbo movement simply because there are a pockets of other tribes in the movement.

You can imagine how it all turned out, for example Lagos which Obi came first. The chest beating of Igbos in mockery of even the Yorubas who stood side by side to vote Peter Obi.

Which ever perspective anyone may want to look at it. The 1966 coup was an Igbo coup. The only reason why Igbos don't want to associate themselves with the 1966 coup is because of how it ended up as an humiliation.

Not long ago, the Arewa gave an ultimatum that Igbos should leave the North. That was during the height of Nnamdi Kanu's inciteful speeches about Biafra when Buhari was President but what happened?!

I see your claim as a lame excuse because Igbos participated very well in the last election in trying to see that Peter Obi becomes Nigeria's president. So?

What do you mean by "in your own country"? Did you agitate for another country "in your own country"?! That is the country they told you to go.
They said so because you are not ready to leave in peace.

Your excuse is Nigeria don't want you to go. Arewa made the declaration but yet you were still making excuses.

I already said the name. What is the point in repeating what I already said which you yourself know.

I hope you know Igbos ended up begging on their knees. It was so much pleading, one which Ango Abdullahi eventually showed mercy. Otherwise d picture below . 🤪

At some point, we may just need to leave the past and live in the present and consider the future. The best thing about the past is a source of reference to learn from. And that’s what the civil war should be, something to learn from.

If we are to really move on for progress, it may be time to stop shifting blames…
Let’s remember, first we are humans, we are Africans and we really need to unite as a people in order to move forward and be in position to shake the world.

When slave masters and evil colonizers claim, they didn’t care, they invaded all lands from east to west to north and with one agenda…

Yet the most evil people in history who committed the most inhumane thing against humanity, through slavery, colonization and genocide and even spread diseases. They have moved one and forgiven themselves

No one is still blaming Germany for starting world war… now Germany, uk, France, USA are best of allies now
Japan and US are allies today…
And when it was time to colonize Africa , they all sat down and united to invade our lands….(we are still suffering the pain today.)

And come to think of it, no one wants to be the villain of their own world, continually calling the civil war an “igbo coup” won’t make anything better other than worsen things… The people who fought the war, all the people involved both children and old will be no more in few years time… most are even gone already

The first step to forgiveness and progress may just to let it go….

But but but but!!!! In the name of letting go, it will only happen if the igbos themselves let go… it won’t be a time to start looking for a new way to shift blames… it will lead to more resistance and clap backs
No sir, the first step to forqlveness is not letting go. It's genuine repentance.

If I r@pe ur wife/daughter, and instead of begging u for forgiveness, I refuse to even accept I did wrong in the first instance. How will you feel? Even if u forgive me in ur heart u will NEVER trust me/allow me in d presence of any relative of URS that has vagina. Why? Because I did not see any wrong in my previous action.
cool

reprisal happened because the Igbos were mocking the northerners

The ibb that is now your hero made it clear n an Igbo artist even sang a song titled "goat is crying" to mock d northerners
If Celestine Ukwu or any Igbo man did not sing any song to mock the northerners, may you die next month. May the death be violent because you're lying against an innocent man whose soul is suppose to be resting in peace.
