I don't understand, how is BUAcement and Wapco dividend yield better than Nascon's ? Am I missing something??
Is Nascon and the cement companies in the same sector

Streetinvestor2:

That was another question I wanted to ask cos I don't understand.

My origin post was , I don't think any company in consumers good sector where Nascon belongs will post a better dividend yields than Nascon

A reply comparing Cements dividend yields to Nascon's got me so confused, it's like comparing Apples and Oranges.

Even at that, Nascon's dividend yield is still better than BUAcement and Wapco.

Ukraine is now under Martial law, therefore all parliamentary/civil legal processes are suspended

The fact that you missed this point shows that you have been misinformed about this crisis

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/2/25/ukrainian-parliament-affirms-zelenskyys-legitimacy

This same parliament ?
BTW this was 5 days ago
And yes, any deal will still be ratified by parliament

Anyways let's not further derail this thread grin cheesy

Ellah Lakes Q2. At least revenue is now showing in their result, though very little. Lost after tax of 0.20k sha.

The EPS got worse, looks like it may dip further from tomorrow. I pray to have spare funds to average down.

pls can someone explain item 10i in this account to me

"The Management has converted portion of their Salary Payable to Equity Shares. The outstanding for management team are as stated: Chuka Mordi, Paul Farrer, Ladi Ogunbiyi."

Explanation:

This means that instead of paying the management team (Chuka Mordi, Paul Farrer, and Ladi Ogunbiyi) their full salaries in cash, the company has chosen to compensate them by giving them company shares. This is often done when a company is low on cash or wants to align managementโ€™s interests with shareholders by making them part-owners of the business.

I'd rather just look for fresh opportunities with spare funds and treat ellah as a long term investment... Personally speaking... Looking forward to lifting of suspension on mutual benefit shares

Where is Locotrader?

They have cleared their debts, a substantial increase in cash, OCF is also positive and 500% more than PAT.
I still think it is overvalued on the short and medium time frame

They probably want to bring it to the ngx.

By the way, I downloaded the NASD app but it never worked. Does anyone know why, please?

You need to first open a NASD cscs account with a stockbroking firm that trades on that platform. You can do that with investment one stockbrokers.
When you have that done, you can download the app, and one of the processes during registration on the app will involve the stockbroking firm where you have the NASD account because the NASD must link your trading app with a stockbroking firm.
