See the advice all these married men are giving this man. Looks like they all do not trust their wives. Very immature husbands here on Nairaland.

I would rather throw my money into the River Niger than spend it sponsoring a woman on such an adventure. It always ends in disappointment. I’m speaking from experience. Don’t tell me not all women are the same—I once believed that too, but things played out exactly as my friends predicted. In fact, even if God send (throw down for ) me an angel in the form of a woman, I still wouldn’t trust her.

My wife was offered an admission last year October and her resumption was scheduled to be September, January and May but she was pregnant then with our first son which she had late last year and now we are thinking of continuing with the process.

I’m worried if the application could still be on and what’s her chances of approval since I believe she now has strong ties with her country back home(family and business) which in my little opinion should make her visa application accepted….

I would appreciate genuine contributions as we are pulling in big resources to make this work.

OP all I can say is be a Bachelor... Nothing more nothing less, if that woman mistakely steps out of Nigeria, kiss her good bye....

She's even leaving the child with you, That's a big red flag.... If you are the one celebrating your achievements of traveling abroad without any woman I would have been happy for you, but this kind of news pisses me off seriously.... undecided

My friends wife got admission to study abroad, leaving two kids for his husband who are 2 and 6 months behind for him.
Went there and within two months met 1 naija man bfre u know it both started knacking. The husband noticed that her wife usually talk about this naija guy who shows her everywhere and helping her to navigate and getting free foods from food bank.
He warned her to becareful and always do video calls with him.
She refused and told him that education there is too stressful that she can only call whenever she's free.
These issue continues until she became pregnant.
She had abortion which resulted to complications.
it happens that this manwas not told and had not idea but was suspecting her. He now decided to consult someone who told him that the wife is dating someone and the wife is co-habiting with the boy/Man.
Meanwhile, she got there when it was about to start snowing and the weather requires two people to be able to navigate 😆.
Now, the woman is begging after confessing and the man refused.
He filed for divorce and now she's using police to threatened him cos, she has access to dollars which she's bribing the security agencies to threaten him, and planning to forcefully collect those two kids who are now 4yrs and 2yrs of age.
The battle is still on.

This here is a great reveling word, nigga what I will advise you, is that you should embrace being a full time bachelor.... This women have nothing to offer we men, we are kings so it's high time we start behaving like it....

I advice men to embrace bachelorship with all full alacrity....

Her home-tie has surely gained a stronger point... But, approval goes beyond just having a strong home-tie.

Just give it your best shot ensuring you have good proof of funds and can be able to show that the funds are readily accessible like depositing it in her acct rather than yours even though you're the sponsor

Proof of funds is not a prerequisite like it use to be before.Funds are now classed as movable assets, meaning it can be there today and vanish tomorrow. She has to show beyond funds she will be back home,Canada has changed a lot.

A wife leaving her newly home and child for Canada,
Her child will join her after 5yrs, you both will live apart for the 5yrs ....

It's either she's your sister and a single mother or you are tired of the marriage and wants to discard her or she's your baby mama whom you want to use abroad as settlement

Yeah, we know. The man is not natural to this planet. That is the great revelation in the garden of Eden that a lot of people do not know about, the manipulation of the woman’s dna to create the man, the lineage of the devil. That is why the man goes about destroying everything on this planet. That is why the man rapes, kills and destroys everything he comes across and most significantly that is why the man hates the woman above all.

Something is wrong with both of you. What kind of mother would abandon a less than one year old baby and husband to pursue studies? That in itself may ruin her chances of visa approval...it is likely to show a desperation to migrate. If she's approved ... as a husband ... what bond would your child have with her mother? ...bond online I guess. You as a man ... a husband ... did you even consider that your wife may never return to you? ... play you until you complete financing her studies? Why is it a must to scatter your family with your own hands ... gambling on degree? Weigh the risks ... look well before you leap.
