Ex-banker Sold Her Property To Move Abroad For COS But Ended Up As Cleaner by DyshApp: 11:43pm On Mar 08
A lady shares her disappointing experience of selling her property to relocate abroad for a better job.

The lady posted a video on TikTok showing how she quit her banking job in Ghana and sold all her belongings to move abroad for a better job offer.

According to her, after resigning from her banking job, she sold her properties after a travel agent promised her a COS for an MC in the UK.

She emptied her savings and handed the money to the agent who was helping her get a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) to enable her work in the UK but realized she was deceived by the agent who got her a cleaning job instead.

She made the post on Ghana’s independence day and stated that the leaders should work for the betterment of their country so young people would not make hasty decisions to move abroad only to regret it later.

In her words;

“I quit my banking job in Ghana, sold my properties, handed my entire savings to an agent who promised me a COS for an MC job in the UK, only to realise on arrival it was a 5-year Morning cleaner(MC) job contract. What should I do?”

She will transition to something better. My friend did the same for two years until he got a job with their version of Central Bank. The story made front page here and mongrels tapped from his blessings.

From banker to cleaner.. sold all she had, still emptied all her savings to relocate to a "better place".Ehnn let her embrace her morning cleaning job, 5 years no too far.

I doubt if any foreigner atal will leave the decent life in their country to relocate to Africa to do cleaning job.. Most blacks don't use their brain and it's part of the reason Africa is where ot is today.
In 5 years most of her colleagues would have made something out of life in same Ghana she left, while she would be a struggling immigrant in UK surviving on cleaning jobs. Where is the sense?

She will make more money and buy a better property 🤷shocked

Many Nigerians Japa and do same. Buy houses in choice location, build plazas, build hotel apartments, invest in money market funds. All in Nigeria

But if she sent some home to be cedis, she can achieve what even her bank manager then can't achieve.

Not necessarily. It depends on the bank managers level and their non cash benefits.

That cleaner work fit her...!

Let a more sensible and intelligent person take her place in Africa.

Nothing personal, but I don't rate the intelligence of anyone selling off properties just to move abroad when you don't have the required certification and career assurances to succeed there.

These days, it's worse and dumber than playing BetNaija with borrowed money.

COMRADES, I've not seen anything wrong with working as a cleaner in England, many migrants started this way and ended up being successful
