This is mostly applicable to Nigerians that migrated to UK via study route. UK can be frustrating, forget the fine pictures, that country was never structured to make migrants succeed, only fortunate ones with high in demand skills and physical strength succeed in UK.

Another country Nigerians always regret migrating to is Cyprus.

Avoid the below mentioned countries if you are a Nigerian that want to Japa abroad

Cyprus
South Africa
Spain
Turkey (except for buying things)
Vietnam
India
Russia
Philippines
Indonesia
Malaysia
Dubai
Lebanon
Libya
Morocco
Egypt
With the exception of the cold Russia is far better than the rest countries.

Let them keep deceiving you. Many people are trying to hold you back in Nigeria, and most don’t even realize it. They’re using the story of a tiny 0.01% to push their narrative. Yes, you might struggle at first, but life here is far better than what you’ll find in Nigeria. For example, since I arrived, I haven’t had a single illness, unlike when I was back in Nigeria. What I earn in a day here is more than what I made in a whole month back home. Remember, you can always go back if things improve, but right now, it’s totally worth it. I taught at one of the best secondary schools while in Nigeria, but here, I’m inundated with job offers as a maths teacher. Many people there won’t stop pestering you for financial help, all while deceiving you and trying to stop you from seeking greener pastures. I could go on, but…

How is she Igbo hater? That she couldn't save a Chinedu that went to carry drugs and got sentenced to death in Malaysia? Even Obasanjo as President couldn't do that because the laws of those places don't give a damn who you are!

Very true... think well o!!! Do not sell everything o! 😂

And do not come if you have nothing tangible like a certificate. The UK particularly is closing up even for doctors who used to have an advantage!
Certificate can give you a better job if you can defend it but you do not need a certificate to excel in the western world.

Toh

Hidden truth that reasonable number of people are not aware of

There is nothing hidden about these things tbh...!

1. Many Nigerians can never afford to Japa. Only a tiny percentage of the highly privileged among us can afford it.

2. Those who end up in problems are the ones who relocate without due diligence... Those who are clearly not needed professionally in those nations.

3. Talking about depressed Nigerians abroad when far more are depressed in Nigeria is weird and amusing... Our suicide rate in Nigeria has been steadily climbing for close to a decade now.

4. Finally, the undue focus on people leaving the nation when less is being done to support and develop the many more unable to leave, through proper leadership, simply borders on misplaced priorities.

Minus Russia. Your list correct.

Dubai is something else. That place has a large amount of Nigerians who are just wasting away for nothing.

No marriage, no pathways to citizenship, no good jobs, and the only way out is crime or japada (return to Naija).

But everything in life is planning. If one migrate legally, life will be good.

You can't just uproot yourself to a place where you know no one and have no desired skills and work permit and expect magic.

But APC government is making Nigeria difficult for the Diaspora Nigerians to return to Nigeria. At times, one sees APC actions as deliberate. How can Nigeria with nearly a million people in the armed forces not police armed herdsmen and kidnappers for ransome?

How about cases of several Nigerians who were living in Regrets, and Depression, while they were still in Nigeria, but now enjoying Heaven on earth, now that they have relocated to overseas? Or do we not have such Nigerians? Or do we not also have Nigerians who are still living in Nigeria now, but are totally living in regrets and depression?

Anybody who says such things near me, is at risk of being buried alive. No jokes.
