“We cannot buy a product at N889, and over the night, the prices are dropped to N825, which is unfair. Yes you can; 1, You’re not forced to sell below your cost price immediately, 2, if it was an increment your like will up the price instantaneously, so stop being deceptive, 3, it’s a wide margin of profit for you, 100 liters at 88,900, will become 82,500 on your next purchase, a whopping 6,400/100L stashed away or reinvested. What is the actual issue? I do not support the Dangote industry for personally reasons, but his venture into the oil and gas sector should in theory have turned the country’s economy around for the better. I still hold that the true cost of PMS lies at circa 500 NGN. Marketers and NNPC fight vehemently to resist any downward trend in prices and this is seconded by the presidency. I believe at this point the sector needs to be regulated. Deregulation was a farce, and now unionism is crippling productivity. We have refineries, we don’t need so many players in the field, they should divest. @FG, build freggin railways connecting the major cities in Nigeria. Even if not for commuting of passengers but for rapid dispatch of goods and services. It’s too basic to be delayed. 43 Likes 6 Shares |

Lol. Fear of competitive pricing when you see a cheaper and superior product closer to you? Healthy market competition when one entity has been the sole importer for years and it didnt bring prices down? Indequate petrol production when the storehouse for excess petrol is always full? These guys deserve to be rounded up with their NNPCL collaborators and executed with snipers at close range. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Funny how Dangote shot himself on the foot when they asked him how much he will be selling the fuel and. He said NNPC will determine the price. I believe petrol can sell for less than N400. No right thinking man will import product if they can get it cheaper. Its lucrative to import despite logistics, and other cost attached to it. 2 Likes |
Re: Why Retailers, Marketers Dump Dangote Refinery Petrol For Import – Stakeholders by santaclaws: 8:55am On Mar 11 |
No reason! They just want to continue importing blended petrol and making excess profits by scamming Nigerians. NNPC is now known for substandard fuel... A whole national petroleum company, what a shame! God bless Dangote! God bless Nigeria. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Baxilexi: Just like what you said, these same devils bought fuel at under N198 and once Tinubu announced the end of subsidy, that same day they closed all their filling stations, adjusted price and sold old stock for over 150% percent gain...these same devils are now saying they can't deal with less than 10% decrease in price.... This is why I believe History should be the most important subject in Nigeria as people will just wake up lie and misrepresent things anyhow in this country. Just 2 years ago ooo, see the same thieves talking. 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Lol see excuse... Buh you can buy fuel at 170 or 200 and when Subsidy was removed you immediately change your price to 500 plus... If the price comes down is still a win win for you guy's because your next purchase you will still have enough Naira to buy than having an increase rate where you might need to take a Loan to buy next stock and still even add your old gain.... 2 Likes 1 Share |

At the moment, I would like Dangote to clearly state the stations that are buying from him. Let's boycott these saboteurs who are importing. I know of AP and MRS. I will be patronising those two stations. The rest can go suck eggs. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Great100000:it's very clear from here that the real issue actually is the fuel marketers trying to establish a system where they would continue to fleece helpless Nigerians n nothing more, worst of all these importers are importing poor quality fuel n the regulators are doing nothing about it, dangote refinery should just expand it retail marketing agreement with more marketers to checkmate these crooks simple. 6 Likes 1 Share |

By now the petrol price per liter should be less than #180 naira as promised by APC and their so called Naija saviour. But APC slaves are saying we should be celebrating 860/liter. It shall not be well with anyone mismanaging Nigeria resources with reckless lifestyle and policies 1 Like 1 Share |
