This first and probably last tenure of this okpolo eyed governor might go down in history as one of the most turbulent...!

This goes to show the level of disconnection between the people being led and those they elected into office.

How can a governor be this ridiculed and insulted from day 1 in office?!! Why would an ex-governor still have a say or hand in what happens in his state even at the expense of the incumbent?!!

Nigeria is not ready for progress at all!
Be truthful, have you ever thought that Tinubu has Okpolo eyes?
I doubt.

It remains a fact that nobody can support the APC and be sensible

if that be so that there is no assembly house for assembly members . then let them wait till a assembly is built so that the Budget can be presented properly to them.

Let's wait, a new Abacha will be born in South West and the fortunes and monies he grabbed, stole and ran away with, will be used to be financing the budget of Lagos State and the whole South West....

Is this the Nigeria you are dreaming of every day?
Slave master that chose him to be Governor. The Abacha that was born in the SE, what have you done about it?. The son of Orji Kalu is the speaker of Abia house of Assembly. A log of wood is in your eye bit you want to remove a speckle from another man's eye, buffoon.

The last kick of a dying horse: Fubara is only trying to blackmail the aggrieved members of the house with the media.

He claimed he sent letters, were the letters acknowledged?
Did he reach an agreement with the house on the date for the 2025 budget re-presentation?
Who asked him to come today for budget presentation?

The beginning of the end for Fubara. Ikwerre will rule Rivers for the next 100 years. The other tribes are not politically mature to produce good leadership, they prefer their membership of ''on your mandate we stand choir''.

How?!! I'm clearly on the side of the people of Rivers state and democracy.

I'm clearly against the interference and tampering of that state by Wike acting like he is the owner of Rivers.

I wouldn't have given a shit about the matter if it was a simple squabble between the state Executive and the Legislative house.

Is that clear enough for you?!!

Stop this talk... It's unintelligent.

You don't "CHOOSE" a governor! Not as an individual.

You can help or support a person's candidacy but once he becomes a governor, you remove yourself from his administration, at least publicly.

A democracy is not a selection process! There is a clear distinction between election and selection.

You Nigerian youths are shockingly ignorant of how governance and leadership ought to work.

It's shameful and sad how you guys condone the rascality of Imbecilic thugs in power.

You said that the Rivers people love the governor, right?
The 27 lawmakers are working with Wike to ridicule the governor and make the state ungovernable to possibly impeach him, not so?

If the people love him, then why have they failed to recall the 27 lawmakers?
Are you so clueless to see the connection

Lol... Recall, you say?!!

You would be shocked to know that over 90% of Nigerians have no idea of that constitutional provision or how it works.

Matter of fact, believe it... Most Nigerian youths are completely ignorant about how leadership and democracy work.

When you read their blatant and unabashed support for miscreants in power like Wike, Akpabio, and the rest, even while suffering and living subpar lives, it tells you the level of mental incapacity of most Nigerian youths...!

Sadly and shamefully, many of them are actually university educated. Smh!!!

What do you people use to measure someone being poor and why do you use the phrase anytime you want to have an argument?

Again, I don’t engage emotions when I needed to use logic as I don’t have favorites among them even when I believe Wike is treated badly. May the best of them win

Right? But he was given 48hrs ultimatum to present the budget. What if he's(the governor) is trying to meet up with the time frame??

We rise by lifting others

Check my prior post; I did not support him being given 48 hours because it is not justifiable, and I recommend at least one week. However, I feel the governor should have written back, acknowledged the letter, stated why it is not possible to meet within 48 hours, and asked for a convenient date, which might be up to a month or more, but he did not do so and instead invite them to the meeting. If you were in their position, would you have honored such request, or how would you have responded?

The hands of Tinubu...

He is a bad politician that can't survive free and fair election or a united opposition.

Tinubu is not a democrat, he's a selfish ruler; his only ambition is to be president just to pack wealth for himself and unborn generation.

So, "a whole Speaker" is not Higher than the Executive Governor of a State?

Are they not the ones that gave him a 48hrs Ultimatum in the fist place?

If it is the wish of Rivers people to keep the governor, why have they not recalled the recalcitrant state lawmakers?
Any brilliant idea why this has not happened

Nigeria's Electoral Laws were designed by the same set of ignoble People who wrote our Constitution --- It was designed to protect all these sort of "shady characters" and to prevent their successful recall.

Can you remember how many times some Constituencies have tried to recall their Senators and it failed woefully?
Even INEC will create additional Obstacles for the Process, to make sure it does not succeed.

I mean, how can a whole Supreme Court give "fuel" to this sort of political rascality?
When Judges start merry-go-rounding on what is very obvous and start twisting reality, using some silly excuses, we are all reminded of the Title of Dele Farotimi's Book. undecided undecided

BTW: Have we forgotten the same sort of Nonsense happened at the Lagos Assembly when some 3rd Party reversed the decision of the House of Assembly, saying the House of Assembly did not consult them before impeaching their Leader..... and then re-instated him?
what we are practicing is not a Democracy, it is a "Capture of State", according to a book written by a famous Author.

The same Assembly members that gave the Governor a 48hours ultimatum to present the budget. Were they also expecting a reply from the governor after issuing ultimatum? The ultimatum meant they were in a hurry to receive the budget, the governor only expedited the process for them by not waiting for a reply.
First 48 hrs elapsed, second elapsed as well, without reason.
Then you come out and sent a letter via the SSG and not yourself, and on social media, not via normal correspondence.
Boss, if I were the one, I won't just lock him out, in his presence, I will drive out.
The assembly are not his children, they are a respected arm of government.

Yes, they were expecting a reply from the governor of which he first told them on socal media if I'm not . mistaken that he has not been served the CTC judgment from the SC via his lawyers and when the governor was given an extension of a other 48 hours, he decided to do a socal media invite to the RSHA informing them of what they would be deliberating about !!!!!!

Gov. Fubara is playing to his own crowd and gallery. It will not help him much. Those who he claim are standing by him will not be there when it will get RED.....

When I see things like this happening, I also remember those of the region who PGEJ into believing he would fight certain elements within the region and still emerge re-election.

Whatever point Gov. Fubara is trying to prove via sentiment, it will only be for those who fal fot such emotions.
