yMcy56: That's the annoying part. Out of that 320m, some people here have a good chunk I know about, who are also not ready to sell anytime soon! I wonder why the shareholders here also behave like Akwa Ibom state government! Is there something they are not telling us? No good chunk holder is ready to sell now. Why? They are only moving it around closed corridors. We watch... ![]() |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 12:44pm On Mar 14 |
KarlTom:I guess some shareholders have insight into some privileged info possibly, this could be one of the reasons they rejected it in the first, 2nd and now the third time, if I'm right. Definitely PZ is using some tactics to shortchange minority shareholders and they in turn are catching them in their games. I guess they know PZ can do better than what they're presently offering. They are getting out of losses and finding means to corner the goodies to themselves. If they can do revaluation from 23.60 to 37.10, then they should be able to revaluate much higher nah. If they review up to 60 or more, maybe they'll approve it.....at least they won't pick it so cheap, then start reaping bountiful harvest. Lol.😊 What about the Asset sales if one may ask? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 12:48pm On Mar 14 |
yMcy56:This is exactly what we will do those chinko if they come up with rubbish price on wapco. These companies have been cheating the minority shareholders in this delisting or buy out deals. Our greatest enemy has been the shareholders associations they use as proxy |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 12:51pm On Mar 14 |
Streetinvestor2:PZ minority shareholders aren't smiling with the management at all. 😁 They have some vital info beyond what the management is projecting publicly I think. If minority shareholders can be voicing out like this, they'll at least be treating them somehow fairly. See Union Bank that left and paid minority shareholders a paltry N7.07 naira! Very poor! Some purchased this shares as high as 30+ 4 Likes |

Streetinvestor2: Imagine if the last two block buyers, 300m units last year and 350m units today came to buy on the floor. Where would you have gotten the volume to sell to them? Surely a perfect candidate for BUA plays ![]() The last two buyers will be thinking of capital appreciation too. They are not fools. BUA go teach them las las... ![]() This is not too good. NGX should not extend the time for the curing of this FF again. It shows they are up to something here. ![]() |

In summary, 1 unit of share carries 1 vote 77,952,420 votes (for) vs 228,066,509 votes (against)... Streetinvestor2: 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 2:15pm On Mar 14 |
KarlTom:Thanks. When I was reading it, I was like was there a mistake in the reporting......and I've not been chanced to listen to the EGM. Now, whose votes were against.....because majority holder didn't vote......Ok. I think the votes counts according to shares owned by the voters. In essence, the non approval still favours the minority shareholders.....let it move to 60+ abeg 😁 |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 2:21pm On Mar 14 |
KarlTom:This wonderful idea.I wish could be the law in voting by minority shareholders. This will check mate the rubbish by all those rubbish shareholders associations. Not because of 10 units holding someone will be used to decide serious decisions because he/her has nothing to loose 2 Likes 1 Share |

Abeg they should ramp up production o. SPDC was the operator of the JV - 3173km of flow lines and pipelines - 263 producing oil wells - 56 producing gas wells - 6 gas plants - 2 major oil export terminals - 1 power plant. The JV holds an estimated 6.73 billion barrels of oil and condensate and 56.27 trillion cubic feet of gas (as at 2023) The big question is who will become the new operator of the JV 🤔 Mpeace: 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 2:45pm On Mar 14 |
KarlTom:You can see what I meant. The yeye shareholders associations with thr boys of over 600 people has only 77 M plus units while 12 people against alone has over 250M units. The minority within the minority shareholders that has nothing to loose will always approve rubbish decisions. We should start asking for digital abi na digit voting oh. 3 Likes |
