But the Origin of the issue is from Wike, he is allegedly the reason there is Chaos in Rivers state. Why was he not also penalized, sacked or called to order by the president? Shey Tinubu dey fear Wike? PDP self no get balls. Fire Wike from the party let him completely join the APC already, because as it is right now, only wike dey two parties, he is in both PDP and APC. This is a reckless action from Mr. President. Tinubu claimed Jonathan intimidated and emasculated three state governors when Jonathan declared a state of emergency because of Boko haram activities even then Jonathan did not suspend those governors or their respective state assemblies. Tinubu in his speech said the Federal Executive Council will be making laws for Rivers State instead of even the National Assembly. The President does not have the authority to suspend the governors, just as governors does not have the authority to suspend elected local government chairmen. Tinubu in his speech heaped all the blame on Fubara, even though we have all seen Fubara made frantic efforts to comply with the supreme court judgement but was frustrated by the assembly. Also the Supreme court judgement meddled into the case of the defection of law makers even though there was no material evidence for or against its pronouncement tabled before it on the subject matter. It is even more worrisome that the said case the supreme court decided upon is still pending in a Federal High Court. Looks like everything Tinubu stood against and condemned in the past, he is doing even worse. Its unfortunate that our National Assembly that is supposed to help us out of this shame, seems not to be bothered. As long as the 1999 constitution is concerned, the appointment if the vice admiral is unconstitutional, illegal and undemocratic. The military has no role in democratic dispensation, only elected officials do. Otherwise, PDP senators and representatives as well as those of the minority parties should move the impeachment and use other LEGISLATIVE means to force the hands of Tinubu over this.
