I lived under Buhari, IBB, Abacha and Abdulsalam...and I will not wish military rule on anyone. This comments against government you make on nairaland will land you in jail....nobody will look for you....your own people will deny you for fear of being imprisoned themselves....if you wan protest you have to leave the country....don't ask for what will dehumanise you

That is why in a military regime there is usually no dissension...artificial peace exist because nobody is allowed to freely voice their opinion....and any military officer caught planning a coup is killed sometimes publicly to send signals to another person considering that option. People live in fear in a military dictatorship. Imagine Abacha was the only candidate for all 5 major political parties in Nigeria...when Bola Ige described the parties as five fingers of a leprous man...he landed in jail the following day

Journalists against IBB were being assassinated and NTA will be giving us lamba even though we know say na IBB dey kill them....it's unfortunate to see people celebrating IBB today....many youngsters don't know history....

Even in Burkinafaso today.you oppose government they send you to die in the battlefield...they justify all kinds of absurdities...I see young Nigerians praising it but they won't last a week in that country cos they are not used to no freedom
