Intelligence officers from the United States camouflaging has Harvard students. They may be from the C.I.A or F.B.I snooping around to gather information on how to shut down the refinary remotely from the US without the company knowing. It seems like Mr. Dangote doesn't know he is a threat to the global oil trade.

Proudly Nigerian cool

Thanks to the foresight of Jonathan alongside his privatisation and deregulation free market capitalism PDP who licensed the refinery as part of the 2012 policy that pseudo progressive socialist APC played politics with, using Pastor Tunde Bakare, according to Fayemi’s confession.

“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events.

He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics.

The slowpoke doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”

How can it be well with our country when we have misplaced priorities people like you?

People who want to send universities students to Amazon, Google etc from our country of the highest number of children who are out of school, and even those who are lucky to be in school are enrolled in private establishments that are hardly supervised.

Some indigenes have asked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to clarify details of the Lekki Free Trade Zone land sold to Aliko Dangote, owner of the Dangote Refinery.

The oil mogul had, during a visit by the leadership of the House of Representatives on July 21, revealed he paid $100 million to acquire the about 7,000 acres of land to build his $20 billion refinery, contrary to claims that it was offered freely to him as an incentive or was a subsidised allocation.

Under the aegis of De Renaissance Patriots Foundation, the indigenes, in a letter signed by its president, Adelani Adeniji-Adele, and the secretary general, said they were “bewildered on why the notice of the purchase was not brought to the attention of government and how the money was expended without the members of the public being carried along or benefiting from it, particularly the host communities in Ibeju-Lekki.”

“On the basis of the foregoing, we hereby demand information of the allegation and detailed information on how the money was expended and the account that was used to receive the money,” said the group.

The group added, “Sir, Section 4 (a) of the Freedom of Information Act, 2011, provides that, where information is applied for under this Act, the public institution to which the application is made shall, subject to sections 6,7 and 8 of this Act, within (7) days, after the application is received, make the information available to the Applicant.”

“Section 4 (a) of the Freedom of Information Act, 2011, provides as follows: (1) Where the government or public institution fails to give access to a record or information applied for under this Act that it relates to and that the applicant has a right to challenge the decision refusing access and have it reviewed by a court.”

The group threatened to petition the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to investigate the matter or seek an order of Mandamus in court against Mr Sanwo-Olu’s government did not respond within seven days.

What resolution has he done? Why did they stop the naira 4 crude initiative when it was clearly helping Nigerians with cheap fuel?

Does this stop Dangote from being perceived as a businessman without scruples?
I don't think so.

Even at that he should have invited the MBA class, well the oil business won't interest them cos oil is now an ancient business in the United States.

I wish them the best.

Not all Nigerian's cos most south easterners said dangote refinery can't work and one bitter guy even when to the extend, that is cousin mother brother who was working in the site, said even in ten years, he can't function. What a people. Hatred has killed many people. What an irony that some students from the most prestigious ivy university in the world came down to Lagos Nigeria to visit. Kudos to Dangote and the Tinubu who laid the proper foundation for dangote to site the refinery in Lagos without land acquisition challenges. My south south should learn from south west about the manners they go about hosting companies. Everything should not be deve. To the bitter neighbors, have a change mind.

Until you are arrested and asked to name the south easterners that is when you will have sense. Continue tribal incitement when they pick you, even the Yoruba politicians you look up to will park you under the bus and advocate maximum punishment for you, then you will have sense.

Stop this hatred towards president Tinubu

How come this same Dangote refineries never function under the previous president?

Had president Tinubu not created that environment and negotiation, would you be talking about Dangote refineries today?

Una just dey hate for no meaningful meaning
If you do good, people will talk about it. As you can see everyone can't be like you guys praising tinubu even before becoming president. You're one of his voices here from the beginning. If Tinubu is doing well, do you think people wouldn't talk about it. He can't even prove his critics wrong one bit. Please for the sake of the intelligent people on this forum, praise your mentor with verifiable facts. Dangote refinery was about commencing refining before buhari left. Had buhari not approved the loan he took, which a lot of you faulted and called him names, he'd have not succeeded today. Tinubu is one of the oil cabals in Nigeria operating by proxy. Buhari made dangote refinery possible, not Tinubu who rather saw him as a threat to his Malta blending facility business.

Let me remind you of something you pretend not to know today. On the day Buhari came to lagos to commission the refinery, tinubu ran abroad. A whole president was coming which he was quite aware of but he didn't want to be part of the laudable project. You peoppe are shouting that our refineries aren't working, when you know those brains behind it. I read your post where you responded to someone who said who approved the land for dangote. It's appalling how you guys defend this man, despite the obvious. The lagos free trade zone is meant for such investment and Tinubu isn't the governor or a stakeholder in it. He left office in 2007. Tinubu is only fighting for his pocket. Are you aware that the land that's supposed to be apportioned to investors to boost lagos economy was actually sold to dangote for 30m usd? Dangote himself burst their bubbles when the news were flying around that lagos gave him the land. Tinubu committed a lot atrocity on this. We never knew all these happened under our nose in lagos. That's a story for another day because we need to know where that money went.

Nobody knew anything about the malta blending facility, had dangote not been threatened by Tinubu. Firstly, a part of the refinery was set ablaze ahead of operation which was quickly put put. As if that wasn't enough, you guys joined them in calling dangote a monopoly when you guys knew who the true monopoly was. From there, they said his fuel was adulterated before NNPCL finally showed Nigerians their real intention by hijacking the down stream operations of the dangote refinery. Part of the frustration was denying dangote crude which led to his approaching America for crude and that alone was shameful to Tinubu's government. They kept exposing themselves and dangote had to voice out that a top man in government owned a blending facility in malta. As they knew he was ready to open cans of warms, they stopped the threats.

Dangote kept reducing pump price and their frontiers appointed to import petrol despite the dangote's assurance of meeting local needs began to declare losses. May God continue to expose the real enemies of Nigeria and those defending them online and offline and reward them and their family members bountifully. Amen!
