Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, made his first public appearance on Sunday following his suspension by President Bola Tinubu, ThisDay Nigeria reports.

Fubara attended a church service at Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt, where he was seen interacting with congregants.

His appearance comes amid ongoing political tensions in the state after the declaration of a state of emergency and the suspension of key elected officials.

News Central reports that Fubara was sighted at the Salvation Ministry in Port Harcourt, where he worships regularly, dispelling rumours about his whereabouts.

A senior pastor warmly received him and ushered him into the church service.
