This formation and tactics should work but this motherfuckers are just making the formation look like a joke with their wast of chance...Moses is doing a good job from that left but we need to beg chukwueze and lookman to get the ball into the net cos they seem to be doing rubbish in those region...

Any match wey Naija no score for first half dey end for draw these days, I pray this is different. Anything short of a win today, no WC be that.

They were shouting against Rwanda that Chelle has done magic.
I argued that Nigeria is not playing anything different from what Finidi and Eguavon played, just slight extra zeal.
Even though Nigeria will likely stil win today, but can anyone pinpoint any change of pattern or players?
What is Chukwueze doing on the field.
He has never had a good game in Nigeria colors for a long while
Maybe coaches ain't the only problem afterall.
Technical abilities, skills and decisions of the players also have a long way in determining outcomes

The connection between Moses and Lookman is so poor in the first half.

Ndidi and Iwobi held the midfield well I'm the first half

Very useless first half

I blame the coach. By now he ought to have realized that Chukwueze shouldnt even be in his sqaud let alone starting. His is a playground player not a serious professional.

Secondly, the Zimbabweans are an attacking team. Thus game calls for a second deep lying midfielder like Onyedika.

Zimbabwe’s coach didn’t expect Nigeria to beat Rwanda

"I can tell you, I know because I was working in Rwanda. They (Nigeria) always struggle in Rwanda,” he said.

“They missed the World Cup in Germany when they played a draw in Rwanda in 2005, they lost against Rwanda in the last Afcon qualifier game,” he recalled.

However he was shocked to see an Osimhen inspired Super Eagles dominant and wipe Rwanda 2-0 right in Kigali

Wrong, we missed world cup in Germany because we lost to Angola.

That's my prayer.

They don't win.

Is it his brand of football we want to watch them play in world cup?

It's better they stay back than been a leverage for others to ride over.

Chukwueze is not even marking at all. He's the one allowing the Zimbabwe to build up from the back as he doesn't start in his position

Osei is playing as if he's a forward winger while leaving the opponents at the back

Moses is actually doing fine at the left corner

Why are we still using static banners on the advertisement board in our stadium in 2025? Even little Rwanda is using electronic digital board. So much for the so called giant of Africa.

Lookman should be moved to the far left. Simon should be dropped further to the center and should learn to release the ball on time to feed Osihmen.

Chukweze should be removed, if he doesn't show improvement in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

Lookman and Osihmen should be supplied constantly..

As for Iwobi, I still dey take one eye dey look am. He dey pass ball go back like say na Mikel Obi him be. He needs to be more offensive.

The Warriors of Zim are fast and could score on a counter. And if they do. The pressure will go high up to 20000psi.

Na die Una go come dey.

The coach dey craze. How can you have Moses and Chukwueze on the wings yet you cannot instruct your midfielders and defenders to move the ball very fast?? See all the space Zimbabwe dey leave for back.

Lookman is a better threat from the wings. Why not withdraw either of Chukwueze and reinforce midfield with Onyedika or Alhassan.
I hope this formation doesn't backfire. The Zimbabweans are slick when breaking.

Perhaps you are watching the back of your TV

Did we even dominate the first half? I doubt. The Zimbabwe passes are more accurate than ours
