If they can do <= 12-15% (last year was ~11.36%), we should have a bumper harvest. The price closed at #474 last year, and 15% of that is ~#70.

I really hope so

He sold around #40 actually and if his claim of porting to dollars is right, then he probably made the right choice (since $ to naira has doubled since then). Agba is an old head in this game so no need bashing him IMO. His pessimistic views helps balance the overly-optimistic ones so his opinions (especially if you filter out his troll comments) are very much welcomed and appreciated here. Gracias.
He sold for #38 as he bought below #20.I have been waiting for it to go below that #38 but it has not happened. That was why he refused to disclose his next buy..lwkd.I suspect it was insurance stock because of 100% claim.
I wonder which sector go deliver another 100% for him by his November target.

So NNPC or NNPCL has plans to List on NGX.

1: When geregu listed on NGX it was the only electricity company on NGX, geregu listed for 100 or 150 there about and fast forward today, the company, stock price is above 1,000 with persistent, national grid collapse, given the nation grid collapse is usually for a short period of time, or few days, and also given that, geregu in an electricity generating company and distribution company.

note: it is important to note that Nigeria, electricity, sector in Nigeria has been in shambles for years, so one can say, that these company do not use their profit to reinvest to improve the sector.

Moving TO NNPC OR NNPCL

with the way NNPCL OR NNPC has being doing business in the past, plagued by corruption, always in the news about something negative do we expect NNPC OR NNPCL stock price to preform well like geregu

please share your thoughts

Geregu listed for around N40.

Exited I was mixing it up with BUA FOOD which listed at N40

I really don't get this correlation of Power coys with NNPC or NNPCL. Geregu listed with small outstanding number of shares. While Transcorp a bigger player with more capacity listed with large Outstanding number of shares. The price of Geregu rose astronomically because of its OS. While the share of Transcorp didn't rise that much despite its higher capacity but large outstanding shares. From the last financial year Geregu declared N8 for eps of about N10, while Transcorp was only able to declare N3.50k from around the same eps. Generating companies have a ready market for their products, we have very limited electricity being generated into the national grid and everything is taken up because we still need more generation. I don't understand your point about the national grid collapses.

Then coming back to NNPCL, it was wholly owned by Government. Now, that it is to be privatised expect the book of the company to be thrown open. If they are claiming losses, you and I will see it from their books. If Government actually hands off completely and it is run transparently then it is a good company to buy into.

lol. But no be by force for him to disclose his buys. Whatever he does with his investment portfolio is his private business. Personally, I just like his humorous style and share some his sentiments about a possible downward trend in profitability of some banks this year (2025 FY) - hence there might be an opportunity to pick some of them at lower price range later in the year.

Geregu Power Plc (GPP) on Wednesday became the first power generating company in the country to be admitted into the Mainboard of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) by way of listing by Introduction (LBI).

The company, majorly owned by Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola’s 2.5 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N100 per share were admitted on the Exchange.

The listing of Geregu’s shares has added N250,000,000,000 billion to the market capitalisation of NGX and further boosted liquidity in the Nigerian stock market and providing opportunities for wealth creation.

On its first trading day on the NGX, Geregu Power’s share gained 10 per cent to close at N110 per share from the N100 per share it was listed by introduction.

The gain pushed its market capitalisation to N275 billion from the N250 billion it was listed.

A total of 8.5 million shares of Geregu worth N935 million was traded in one day as its listing further boosted liquidity in the Nigerian capital.

To mark the significance of the listing, a closing gong ceremony was being planned for the last week of October 2022

Sorry I was mixing it up with BUA FOOD which listed at N40

Some people were wondering the production of the SPDC assets that were acquired previously.
It’s about 400kboepd gross
And about 120kboepd goes to renaissance as they own 30% of the JV. You can work out Aradels share from that.
Aradel in Q1 also have brought a new field on stream, which has started producing. Should reflect in Q1’s result hopefully
Has Aradel announced how much they would pay as dividends?

If they have, when is the qualifying date?

This is a good one from FIDELITY BANK and another challenge to ACCESS BANK. Access has no business paying less than N2.00k if they don't it will surely reflect in their share price. It is time to wake up and not being stingy. We wait.

Sorry Mr Agbalowomeri, I also have that misconception that you are an old man. I will give my reasons:

1. Your moniker "Agbalowomeri " sounds old to me and in Yoruba language Agba means Elder.

2. Your moniker dates backs on this forum dates back as early as 2013 ( if not earlier sef). Which means you have been long in the business and must have age on your side too.

3. Your love for garri and not Shawama had also exposed you that you are old.

4. Your jokes and grin face goes a long way to tell me you are matured and know how to handle situations and not get unnecessarily angry no matter the provocation

5. Your selling Guaranty Trust Bank when you observed it had peak should also be part of the reason. It was a smart move at the time because you cash out big time. grin grin grin

So with these few points of mine, I think I have been able to establish that you are old. grin grin grin
