Whenever they kill Hausa/fulani in the south, there will be so much condermation from political actors across Nigeria, but if same happens in the north, everywhere will be silent as if nothing happens.

Indeed, we are in a country with different laws for different tribes/religions.

Just last week, so many people were killed in Benue and Ondo, presidency doesn't release any statement to conderm the act and to bring the perpetrators to justice, neither did two states Govs take any solid actions.

They no dey tell person, If he likes let him sacrifice his people.

All the massacre that have been penetrated by the same group of people, all over Nigeria. What was the outcome? undecided all the herdsmen killings over all, where is justice?

I am not in support of violence, but this is what you get when you fail to address an insecurity. In opinion, every community should take steps to protect themselves rather than being sorry.

Personally I don’t trust the narrative we are being sold, “They were hunters”. No how on earth, you would stop a truck full of hunters and not a single game or evidence of being a hunter would be found.

The assailants need to be brought to justice and, cos if we continue this way other southerners will not find it funny in the North we will continue to educate every bit of malicious things that happen to any Northerner in the South for reprisal.

Where the vigilant member trained?
No, they were not. They simply inaugurated them, even gave them arms, and unleashed them on our people without police supervision. Of course, people cheered them on, saying that they "work more than police". There've been complaints about some individual vigilante members committing crime in Benin City, yet the state government did nothing to rein them in.

He is APCnow! Sense is bound to be far from him! The demonic party is stoking a war that will shock the whole world! This is how the useless Fulani herdsmen triggered Igbos to form ESN, and the end of the day, the senseless APC party detained Nnamdi Kanu......the world is watching and waiting on the so-called president Tinubu to act!

Is it not the same Nigeria, our “educated leaders” are releasing “repentant boko haram” members while it’s youth rot in a malfunctioning judiciary system where it can take more two year to hear a matter in a magistrate court while the accused rots in prison for the same time period for a filmsy offense.

Na from clap, dance dey start. Now we are all dancing to the tune, you are saying, the tune no correct. Were you sleeping when the pattern of clapping started. Fix insecurity! Nigeria is a NO GUNS ALLOWED sovereign state, let’s stop shifting goal post for some group of people.

If i were i governor in a Nigeria state, with my own security. A truck load of people with guns who can’t identify themselves with proof, just know it shoot-on-shot. I won’t sacrifice my people or risk the life of my security personnels.

A vigilante member was stabbed, the vigilante men were defending themselves from 39 armed bandits. Mr Governor secure Edo forests, declare all Fulani and northerners leave the forests of Edo State,if you want to live somewhere rent a house In the town, only animals, terrorists and bandits live in forests.

Create a forest guard to patrol Edo forests, these bandits have sorrounded Edo forests, we must go in and flush them out by any means necessary.

On matters like this, always trust that you’d hear an incomplete narrative. as if in a whole of community of Edo people, there is not one reasonable person. A truck load of hunter, you won’t even need any education to know these ones are hunters

You're one the few on this forum to state what actually escalated the situation. We're waiting for the 'investigations'.

During the search, there was resistance and one of the occupants stabbed a vigilante personnel. This led to what happened.

But even more importantly, with the level of lack of confidence in the government in saving lives and properties, coupled with their apparent inability in neutralising these kidnappers and killers in the forests, this incident would be replicated in many other States in no time.

Nigerians especially southerners beef each other and run with the lies, instead of standing together. If a vigilante member was stabbed their reaction was justified.

After re-designed my comment to suit what best describes you(that's shows you can as well alter a verse in a Bible). You went ahead to support the killings of innocent Hausa hunters just because of prejudice with some Fulani, Can you act responsibly and channel your anger to the appropriate authority?

When a leader is not proactive, this is the result he gets. There have been numerous killings by armed herdsmen across the state and the government have been called by all and sundry to quickly intervene, they felt careless. See what it has caused now. The governor is now running from pillar to post. Very irresponsible of them.

1, Yes, They too deserve to be dealt with
for peace to be keep, becausee Islam did not teach insults.

2, You're not Hausa neither did you heard the voice, why the argument?
Ask 99% of who truly/purely can interprete the voice well he will tell you what it really meant.

Are you the same religious bigot that said killing of Deborah is justifiable because she insulted your god.

But with all the community invasion and killings a truck load of people with guns (in a country where owning a gun is illegal) is not justifiable because it is your kinsmen that were the victim.

This is what you get when you don’t address insecurity properly without biases. I am not a tribalist but personally i don’t want to see any fulani/hausa roaming any forest in any state in Nigeria with a gun. If you want to hunt in large groups and not be mistaken for terrorists, please do it in your hometown.

Once again I really do not desire to comment about Nigeria anymore as a social state but because when humanity is on the brink let me just hazard a suggestion.

160 years ago western United States looked exactly what much of Nigeria is as a state today, totally lawless. It was EVERYBODY for himself. No sense of civilisation, authority nor organisation. NO STRUCTURE.

It was the rule of the strong, the gun and the mob. Bandits ruled the highways, cowboys ruled the plains and the gunslinger, the fastest trigger man held the town captive and CAPTIVATED.

But soon the people got fed up with rebuilding their homes, their towns, their businesses and their cemeteries. And begun to ORGANIZE themselves into viable societies by establishing law enforcement and justice AT THE LOCAL LEVEL.

That gave birth to the now famous office of the SHERIFF, the Chief LAW man. That is law enforcement at the grassroots. They would hunt down criminals, bring them before the county judge and hold them in county jail or hang them on county stocks.

ORGANIZATION is the key to civilization, social viability, sustainability and prosperity.

Whatever that has held back the organisation of society down to the grassroots in Nigeria is what will prevent this country from ever developing.

Without restructuring Nigeria CAN NEVER develop. This is 26 years of unbroken so called democracy. Yet society has not moved an inch forward by whatever metrics of life or decent living. So it is much deeper than mere governance.

Prove me wrong that the black man is just not wired to organize himself into a viable, sustainable and prosperous society.

As copied from the first Edo Massacre post.

If Uromi County had a police service those folks will still be alive today. What will be ongoing will be investgation into the circumstances. What will be gained is valuable Intelligence and knowledge of the issues at hand.

Those folks will have had legal representation to prove their case and social order both in the locality and across Nigeria will be maintained.

But Nigeria PLC does not have any regards for order, we abhor proper working structures that have people live decent lives. And these failings may just eventually lead to the destruction of this country.

Are you aware that this has been turned into an Igbo-hate agenda yet again? On Facebook and Twitter, the narrative is that 'Igbo-settlers' in Uromi killed them. It is things like these that fuel Biafra. Igbo lives cannot be the adhesive that keeps Nigeria together as a country.

All eyes on the Igbo reps in government. Their ambition cannot be greater than the lives of the people they claim to serve.
it's all social media rant, they can't try it lol.. We igbos are not coward, all it would take is for us to cooperate together in that community, we likely have the population to withstand oppression in any place in Nigeria... U can't just go to a community and start killing igbos I swear blood will flow lol.... So don't get worked up by the comment as usual it's social media rant, they can't do shit...

You need school bro. As a Nigerian, whether hunter or vulcaniser, you have the freedom to move freely and settle anywhere you want to do your business/trade. This right is enshrined in section 41 of our Constitution. There is also the right to fair hearing, which was brazenly taken away from those victims. This barbaric attitude is reminiscent of prehistoric age. Anybody doing that cruel act is crude and has no place in sane modern society.
