These folks should be serious. Do they know what Commonwealth Games mean? Where are the facilities for hosting it? It's easier for Nigeria to host the World Cup than the Commonwealth Games. 3 Likes |

With our poor security infrastructure, athletes risk been kidnapped. The organizers will loot the money and deliver a poor job as we don't have accountability in this government. |

With the rate at Wike is working......Abuja can actually host TCG in 2030. However, Abuja might need another stadium to complement the national stadium. Wailers, over to you 🎤 |

Lol, anyone can express interest, but there are conditions that must be on ground to ensure a successful bid which are security and infrastructure. Unfortunately we are lacking on these two. I will say this is another futile exercise just to make whoever that is in charge feel good. |

They know the bid is dead on arrival. They just want to make the news. So that if they win the bid, they’ll make it part of their campaign for re-election in 2031. Bunch of clowns. SmartPolician: |

Leonardo4: I get your worries about insecurity and infrastructure, but hosting the Commonwealth could actually help Nigeria improve. It would attract attention and investment, and can also be the catalysts for improved infrastructure. Other countries have faced difficulties and still hosted big events successfully. Nigeria can do the same |

Misplaced priorities of epic proportions. Those who can't guarantee security m, stable electricity or adequate infrastructure have decided that hosting Commonwealth game is Nigeria's biggest problem. Cow shot has a higher IQ than these bàstards ![]() |

In the midst of all happening in Nigeria now? We haven't gotten our acts together. We aren't where we should be. Our stadiums are poorly maintained. Have we forgotten Coja, Abuja that year, the Abuja stadium was the pearl of Africa then. Look at what it has become now? |
