The same whites you spend your life here defending and cooning for?
Mind Blown. 🤯🤯🤯

I'm better than you . I know they don't like me. I support those aligned to my interests.
In your case , you don't know they don't like you but you still support democrats and liberals who are mostly white

Generally that's what I've picked from comments , not necessarily from white people. From mostly disqus and substacks.
Older generation not specific to any race. It was easier achieving one's life targets.
One area was job availability. Most people took up jobs they were passionate about be it a teacher, coach, fireman. They chose a career , most stuck with it and were able to raise strong families.
Today careers are all about money for a majority Not passion.

Well that didn’t apply extensively to black people.
The jobs available to them then were mostly low wage or service jobs. That’s why you see a lot first black man or first black woman to do this or do that. They didn’t have the same opportunities.

It wasn’t until the mid 1950s before black ppl had the unencumbered right to education. Sure some of them could’ve gotten educated before then but not without lots of obstacles. So which of their passions could they have pursued easily if their right to education wasn’t guaranteed before then?

Black Americans' right to an education in the United States was not universally established until the landmark Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education in 1954. This decision effectively outlawed racial segregation in public schools, marking a significant turning point in the fight for equality in education. However, the struggle for equitable education for Black Americans began much earlier and continued long after this ruling, with ongoing challenges related to funding, resources, and integration.

I’m very happy with my career. My overall happiness level is 9 out of 10. It will be 10/10 once the MAGA movement goes down for what it is, another shameful period in American history. It’s just a matter of time.
I'll repeat.
There are jobs that require a true calling ,nowadays money is the biggest factor
Those days people followed their passion and calling ,money would obviously come.
That's what I mean by happiness.

Yeah, the (white) blue collar assembly line workers that you were referring to were doing it because they were passionate about their job. cheesy

Is this related to Stockholm Syndrome?

I do agree, can you make everyone happy? Today there are many people who are not happy and will never be happy

Still 30 days is too fast for that kind of thing.

Why? That Dylan Roof as he was captured in that church after gunning people down, he shouldn't have lasted a week. Dylan is still alive almost 10yrs later

These are white supremacists talking points. I saw it first hand. When you first land in the west and start going to church. Them racist old white people surround you and start feeding you anti AA propaganda. If you’re not careful you get lost in it and start espousing white supremacy ideals. This propaganda travels to Africa too. That’s why you see Africans who haven’t lived in America talking bad about African American people. But they have no idea that white people have worse communities within them. That’s the effect of propaganda.

The same ills they tell you plague the black community here (which is real let’s be honest) can also be found in white communities. Go to the Appalachias. Go to the country sides. Full of drugged out white people with no education. Meth heads and junkies. The opioid crisis has done them dirty. If they had been black, half of their population would be in prison for opioid offenses. Instead, they receive compassion from the American people. But black people on the other hand receive vitriol and prison for the similar or less offenses.

Even with all the generational wealth their forefathers amassed for them for centuries, they still have to compete with black people who only got civil rights in the 1960s. For people who got a bigger generational start than the rest of the population, white people shouldn’t even have poor drugged out communities the way they do.

BTW how do you move on from active racism? Just smile when someone calls you a n*gger? Is that how?
Because they still exist in their full racism and still practice their racism. Asking black people to move on while being under racist attack is crazy.

People can and should be able to talk about societal ills without folks like you chiming in to say they are refusing to move on.

Whites don't like us, they think they are better.

You need to read more. There is one fundamental thing about whites - they do not behave like a monolith. Whites went to war against other whites over slavery. Whites joined blacks as freedom riders. Lyndon Johnson pushed the civil rights Bill. Whites provided support networks for runaway slaves. Today as some whites cheer trump on, others oppose him.

Someone has to do the job. Everyone can't be a boss. Some people in the rust belt were raised by factory workers, when they grew up they went to work in those same factories.
They had a comfy life, better than most people in Nigeria.

sorry to bring you back here

the pc is only half the battle. the other part of the equation is the games
every thursday since 2018/19, epic games has made one or two games available for free. all you need is an epic games account . bookmark the site, login and claim the games within a week. every december they makes they do this for 10 to 14 days.

you can create an account for your nephew and show him how to get the games

I personally play only 2 games, chess and City:Skylines, (been pretty disappointed with 2), while my nephew has so much going on while we try to distract him from games. He is into chess, and makes youtube videos, and we might get him carting soon.

I just wouldn't use Prime enough to get my monies worth, I think.

A factory with orders from Amazon , Home Depot and Walmart will simply ship the products elsewhere. It's that easy to you.

Hear yourself. If they have orders from Amazon, Home Depot and Walmart, wouldn't they get paid? Or perhaps you just haven't heard how quickly China can repurpose a factory.

All these comparing 1950 to now

Is like comparing Lagos life to village or living in America vs living in Nigeria

There might be some things good about village life or living in Nigeria or living in the 50s

But overall majority of people will prefer living in Lagos, America and in the current 2025 vs the other options

For me I will prefer living in the city in USA in 2025.

The parts for different regions are all available at the factory and they are all interchangeable

I took my phone to the a Samsung repair center. They said my screen was not the spec for Nigeria. But they still ordered the screen for me.

This was what happened when black men talked to white women
from 2.18

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW-ggbuuZ4w?si=BcQELUogY1Dteuk-

This was what a teacher told a brilliant young Malcolm - be a carpenter.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5fqnjpSb7Y?si=53Kfa6cE6xsISpia

I forgot this scene from the Malcolm x movie. This was the reality of civil rights activism. People burning you out of your house at night. They killed his father and claimed the man bashed his own head in and tied himself to train tracks

Whites basically created a cult to intimidate black people - the ku klux klan.

You think they gave civil rights on a platter? People had to fight for them

Malcolm x says it in the movie. He got 10 years for burglary but the real crime was he and shorty were sleeping with white women

Reading the autobiography of Malcom x is always on option if you think the movie is fantasy

You can also get Walter moseleys easy rawlings novels which depicted life for blacks in the 50s

Have you heard of the word passing? It was when a black guy had enough white features (like Mariah Carey) to pass as white and therefore move away and pretend to be white so as to have access to opportunities. He would leave his family behind.

That was the reality before Civil rights

You think Nigerians would be emigrating to a Jim crow us where they could be lynched at will?

After African Americans fought for rights and the ability for us to migrate to the USA, some of us got here to join white people in bashing them.

This is what I'm saying

Apple, android, Windows and game consoles have parental controls

You set up a family with yourself as the head
Then you add your kids as kids. Once you do this properly you have complete control of their use until they are 15 or 16

You can filter out websites, limit games to a particular time and a preset number of hours or minutes.

When my kids were younger I did this. It is a bit tedious and can have nuisance value (you may get prompts on your phone out of the blue) but it definitely works.

Did you see the article I posted? They are already halting sales to the US. The people who will suffer the doubled price are the consumers.

Chinese businesses are not like American businesses with shareholders demanding profit every quarter. They can take a hit while they amend their strategy. Huawei and ZTE were banned from the US. So did they die? Kaspersky has been banned. Has the company collapsed?

You are echoing trumps delusion - that the US is the only game in town.
