I need help peepzFor a start, 240miles translates to roughly 387km (city driving); and for a 70liter tank, that about 5.5km from 1liter of fuel. Do a run on the highway before coming to conclusions, again; do you do use AC all the time as well? |

Isn't that a Japanese? Toyota is recalling millions of cars it manufactured between 2006 and 2009. Your Japanese vehicle could catch fire, return it quickly! BMW for life!! 1 Like |

If It's V6, then i don't think its much......atleast that can take you from Lagos-Ife to and fro. Also fuel consumption depends on the way you drive, if you over stress ur engine, definately it will consume more fuel. |

a friend of mine has also complained about high fuel consumption in his '06 camry too |

Your check engine light must be illuminated if this is happening. Try servicing your injector and change your air filter. This will improve your fuel consumption. If it does not improve check the o2 sensors a EGR valves. Good luck |

oribi: My advise take it to a very good mechanic and also use fuel injector cleaner 1ce a month works for me hopes he does for uwhat make of fuel injector cleaner do you use? At OP, i have a similar problem with my 2002 big daddy. Recently i changed my plugs to the recommeneded plugs (Denso iridium SK20R11 or NGK IFR6A11). I could only get tokunbo plugs though but will be ordering for new ones soon. My check engine light is on as well and intend to scan the car and know what else to fix. there has been a slight improvement in the fuel economy since i switched to the recommended plugs. I will furnish you with more details about any other improvements in due time. 1 Like 1 Share |
