At the very moment when the Democratic Party President Barack Obama reiterated in his inaugural address that the United States “must be a source of hope for the poor” and will “support democracy from Asia to Africa,” giant U.S. C-17 aircraft were carrying French troops into Mali, where Washington a year before had put in power Captain Sanogo, trained in the U.S. by the Pentagon and CIA, exacerbating Mali’s internal conflicts.

The speed with which France launched the operation, ostensibly to protect the Mali from the advance of Islamic rebels, shows that it had long since been planned by France’s Socialist Party President Francois Hollande. The immediate cooperation of the United States and the European Union, which also decided to send military specialists to Mali to carry out training and command functions, shows that it was planned jointly with Washington, Paris, London and other capitals.

The Western powers, whose multinational corporations vie with each other to grab markets and sources of raw materials, come together when their common interests are at stake, such as those in Africa endangered by popular uprisings and Chinese competition.

Mali, one of the poorest countries in the world (with a per capita income one-sixtieth of Italy’s, and with more than half of the population below the poverty line), is rich in raw materials. Mali exports gold and Coltan, the proceeds of which, however, ends in the pockets of multinational corporations and the local elite.

The same is true in neighboring Niger, which is even poorer (with a per capita income less than one-one-hundredth Italy’s) despite being one of the richest countries in uranium, whose extraction and export is in the hands of the French multinational Areva. Not surprisingly, at the same time as the operation in Mali, Paris has sent special forces into Niger.

A similar situation exists in Chad, whose rich oil deposits are exploited by the U.S. ExxonMobil and other corporations (but Chinese companies are also coming): what remains of the proceeds go into the pockets of the local elite. For criticizing such a mechanism, Bishop Comboni Michele Russo was expelled from Chad last October.

At the same time, Niger and Chad are providing thousands of soldiers who, under French command, have been sent to Mali to open a second front. The invasion launched in Mali with French forces as spearhead is therefore one of vast range, extending from the Sahel extends to West and East Africa. It is joined to the one in North Africa that began with the destruction of the Libyan state and maneuvers to stifle, in Egypt and elsewhere, the popular rebellions.

This is a long-term operation that is part of the strategic plan aimed at putting the whole continent under the military control of the “great democracies,” which are returning to Africa with their colonial pith helmets painted in the colors of peace.

My brothers, all am saying is this...

Oyibo peeps added more value to all these raw materials we are talking about.......

Aviation fuel,Gas,PMS,diessel, even bournvita from cocoa among others.........channels of advancement were opened for this raw-materials even technologically,we pay for the brain!!!

Inorder for the oyibo to continue to dominate business /Africa, African leaders were neo-slaved(wharever u wanna do,u seek oyibo permission first e.g western world)!!!

Am sad bout all dis........and Hopeful, that one day,one day,Africa is gonna evolve!!!

tis never a silly conclusion,tis a Fact!!!

What was Africans(before colonial intervention) using Diamond and Gold for........ Necklace that worth 1million whatever ?...... And Gold for Cash back-up ,hmm?

We are talking about the value of these materials to Africans before western intervention NOT their Value to the Oyibos!!!

Oyinbo revalued them all and we pay!!!

Instead of us to see the larger picture of the world, what do we do......Ethnic/tribal fight!!!

First of all i think you don't understand the concept of money, i can use just sticks for money and people will accept and change values using that stick.
What i meant actually was that we don't need to go through colonization to know the values of those things, colonialism has never been a prerequisite to any form of advancement. Countries like ethiopia did not pass through what we went through and they know the values of those stuffs.
People traded gold as far as from Senegal to Persia and you think they don't know the value of those ores ?
What most people do is that they took the european condescending portration of Africans as some naked cannibals with bones across their noses and embedded it into their psyche as the true identity of the blackman. So those new mines discovered all over africa and we need another european colonization to know its value again huh ?

@Thoth,

I clearly understand the ''Concept of Money'' cuz it's my FIELD!!!

U re missing my point !!!!

Here......lemme bring u an analogy since,it seems u re conversant with financial Field....!!!

U owned/create something(resource)...... Another man come on board bought/take ur resouces away to create an advance resources/Further production........''value'' has been added to ur initial resources which u lack the technological know-how for advancement.......he paid U(for ur resources) and when u re buying his Item, u pay him(for ur resources ''raw materials'' + ''value added'' to such resources)........now who gain who loss!!!

Nigerian Oil was discovered in 1957.....and Nigeria has been in existence since when say 1914......NigerDelta has been in existence since when,centuries/thousand years ago (and the Oil has been there) .......lets assume,a particular farmer( an Ijaw man) might have discovered black pool emanating from the soil, say 18century, now, what was the value of such pool of crude oil to such farmer ?

What was the Value of Crude-Oil to NigerDeltan before Oyibo discovery afterall,it didn't fly there the day it was discovered!!!

Same for Gold,Steel,Uranium and so.....on..... We didn't create ''value'' for this things ourselves, their ''VALUE'' was created for us........ And we discovered we also need the ENDs-PRODUCT,then we pay!!!

Have we developed a system or advance in science which will thus make us to develop Value for these resources if not for Oyibo Education and Intervention!!!

Remember, oyinbo education made us realise the significant of all these resources to humanity!!!
U PAY!!!

All this lack of technological know-how,crude means of existence is what we are paying for........

Check around African countries, today, most especially ''blacks''......we could not even give ourselves effective government.....why ?

I aint saying Africans are inferior cuz we have seen proven Africans who defeat even the oyinbo in technological know-how subjected to sane environment like western countries!!!

Lets assume, as we have crude oil.....we are the one that invent motor/engine......ahahaha

we have created our own nuke from our Uranium.......ahaha

among others.......

There are other stones other than Gold,Diamond which are more precious to humanity lying in various African countries today.......small chicks, old women, even dogs shit on it......but we re expecting a day oyibo man go come to attached value to them!!! And we PAY!!!

al these things happening to Africa today is well planed by the Oyinbos more than centuries ago....and we today generations are still hooked.......mehn, those dudes really played Good Chess!!

It's been Neo-Colonialsim now.......backdoor style.......and it's working damned good for 'em!!

Whomsoever has knowledge(know-how) in a particular environment DOMINATE......so,they do.....and they have made themselves to be available @ each stage of African progress.......so,they know what even my Govt might not know.........!!!!

They have avoided African revolution against them @ all cost.......they know when and how to step-in and step-out !!!!

From the oonset i knew where you were coming from but my err was not that you are wrong(you are not entirely) but that such way of thinking opens up a myriad of unreasonable assumptions which is not true in its simplest sense.
I would like to give you an example but i doubt you will give much time to understand it, just think about this and then think along the lines in almost everything you said above .

"Mungo park DISCOVERED River Niger."
have you seen what i meant ?
though you are still right in a sense but i still insist that colonization was never a prerequisite to accepting a value standards. For example without them there would still be modern machines that relies on these minerals and we would still sell what we have at the international market price. there are certain mineral that were never considered important and people could even throw it away as impurities when mining other minerals but once a use was found for it the prices skyrocketed, many of the elements that is used in building mobile phones and strengthening metals were of such class till late 80's and early nineties.
Again i don't say you are wrong just that you are not entirely right.

I totally Agree with you on this one, i heard a guy say that Nigeria's known oil reserve will be gone in less that a decade, i heard another one say that Nigeria exports more than 2.5 million barrels per day and it is not accounted for. Now look, really i don't know how true all these are but it sure gives me the creeps just thinking about it.

Thanks for acknowledging my views........

As to the issue of Mungo park,He did not DISCOVERED River Niger but sent out to EXPLORE the COURSE of RIVER NIGER........where the river emanate from and where it emptied to........ Which implies, before mungo park, africans have been using river Niger at least the part that has to do with their village....... (pls read more on this)!!!!

As to the issue of Oil, yes my brother.......we are all rich today because Oyinbo attached importance to Oil and dis oil is depleting virtually everyday........some oil well have 10million barrel, some 10,000 barrell etc..... But the more u take crude oil out, the lesser it become........ I.e, remove 1 from 100 =99!!! Until more Oil wells are discovered which is also happening timely!!

The depletion does not even matter at all but lets assume the global economy (machines) that make use of crude Oil shd shift........like world shifts from crude oil to another means of generating energy/power or propelling machine....... Then what shall be the value of Oil ?

Have u heard abt motor/machine using electricity/solar power or mayb ''Water'' as their means of propelling!!

U see what am saying, Oyinbo help us value our oil cuz they need it,the day that they 'd discovered a cheaper and environmental friendly alternative, the day they'd boycoat Oil...........u see wha am saying!!!

Whenever u leave ur means of livelihood and survival @ d mercy of others, you are bound to be dominated by them......unless u develop ur system/machines urself,if they wanna contribute.....u set the terms and conditions as well as the PACE.....!!!!

We,we are still here choping money cuz we believe tomorrow shall take care of itself.......while the handiwork of forefathers of oyinbo takes care of their(oyinbo) today!!!......da na y dem stil choping Africa....while we dey follow-follow like zombie o Zombie!!!

Even Nigeria is surrounded by "Democratic" drone and military bases in Niger, Chad, and Benin. Unfortunately the Nigerian Navy do not own the ocean that borders Nigeria to the south. To add salt to injury, some so called Niger Delta Avengers are blowing up pipelines with the aim of "totally crushing Nigeria's economy" in other to weaken Nigeria's ability to resist recolonization which is a stated Pentagon and CIA policy and backed by Washington. Unfortunately, people of Nigeria are too dumb to understand that IPOB and NDA are real enemies controlled by external enemies who intend to colonize them, rape their daughters, forcefully take their raw materials and enslave them.

whatever u may wish to think but Africa was conquered and partitioned 200 years ago and we have not recovered from that defeat. the structure they laid is what we are still using, not even an improvement to what they left. we don't have the means, the resources and the technology to fight even IRAN or NORTH KOREA let alone EU and US.

We are not even united neither are we organized. we are not considered in the scheme of things as we cannot even solve our problems.

GOD will not fight Satan the second time after the latter was defeated. the former will just catch the latter and throw him into jail if he so wishes. that is the predicament of africa right now

You are right anyway. NDA and IPOB were planned in 2000. If NDA wasn't on the Empire's payroll, the Niger Delta region would have been given the Odi 1999 treatment for daring to blow up their oil infrastructure. But we all know the difference between the freedom fighters of 1999 and the 'freedom fighters' of today. And please, IRAN and NORTH KOREA are not 'even'! They are badass countries militarily.

Everything happening in Nigeria right now is externally prepared, initiated and controlled. No group in Nigeria is sovereign even Boko Haram.
