@Faremig: etv hyde park& cape town are very easy to track. But first, make sure your 'LNB' is a quality one, else etv feed will never pop up. It is trackable on astra 4A or Sirius 4.8 @ 4.8 degree East. Track with 12015 v 29950 or 12605v29950. Raise the dish very very little above MBC position( w3a 7 deg East). Though I tracked mine with 12605 v 29950. with this frequency, the signal will be on & off as you track but you just make sure the signal quality is above 75%. After that just blind scan and smiles will be on your face!!!

You would be wrong to track ses5 with 12605 v 29950. That frequency could confuse you when tracking because
1: its active on another satellite ( ew3c @ 16E)

2 : and has been decommisioned on ses5,hence it flashes between between green and red even after you have locked-on ses5 satellite

Your best bet is to track ses5 with 12015 v 29950 and prime your signal to about 75%above,them enter 12737 v 04430 for the feeds.

I got 65% on d tp 12015 buh wat am confused abt is dat d etv tp quality is 35% I mean d first bar. D tp look lyk as if I did not conntt lnb to d box

@ ebenz4:Ignore that Donald303. The issue is, if the LNB is not a quality type, whether you use 12015V29950 or not, you will still come back to ground zero: all sweats but no distance covered! If you input the etv freq, the first bar will reduce to around 35%. But when you input 12015/12605 v 29950, the 1st bar increases to around 90%. This should tell you that, the LNB must be changed in order to get etv feeds!!!

press 8280 if no response, press 6969 twice before pressing 8280. There will be a box with many wholes... All u need to do is to enter the biss code in the first row.

Hello my People, the etv i got, with dat frequency has dollar sign infront. Any magic to that?

I have and I know of certain members who av had similar problems of 'level and quality ' dropping after entering feed frequencies like 12707,12737,etc wit symbol rate 4430. Make no mistake,it has nothing to wit ur lnb. You may want to get another strong decoder(in my own case,I used a friend's 4663x),you would see d that the two bars would shoot out. The problem you are having is a factory problem that some 4669x and 4669xii have making them reject certain frequencies.
SOLUTION:
Try blindscannin once you get that 12015 well above 75( the 65 you got is even too weak for etv feeds to come out).. Some have resolved this problem with this method while others haven't

I am located in West Africa, Kaduna State actually. I use d freq 3964 V 30000 @Arabsat 5c 20 deg E on 2.6m dish n d signal qty is 75%.
