Famous experiment by Dr Edward Deci:People sitting in a room and tried to solve a puzzle while he measured how much time they put in ,before giving up.For Group A,he offered a cash reward for successfully solving it ..those people spent almost twice as much time trying to solve it as those in Group B who werent offered a price.
The next day ,he told Group A there wasnt enough money to pay them ,then Group A lost interest in the puzzle.Group B ,on the other hand ,having never been offered money in exchange for working on the puzzles ,worked on the puzzles longer and longer in each consecutive sessions and maintained a higher level of sustained interest than Group A.So,if it is not money ,what else really motivate us ? In an interview,how do you respond,when asked what motivates you the most?

money doesnt really motivates us,instead ,emotions do .this question is often asked in a well-structured organization like cadbury,Nestle,kpmg among others .i think we should visit these issue so that we can get a better grasp of it...when asked .
