@ Starflux, there are two tricks i want to play when i will apply for my Msc abroad, i don't know if it will backfire in future. Pls i want to take 2 risk 1 I want to borrow the 2.5 million from somebody and then return back 1.5million to the person after settling down and doing part time job in Norway 2 [b]because of the competetive nature of the course i will apply, i will fake a document showing that i have working experience and the document will have signatures and stamps of the company my aim of doing this is to have a preferential consideration over oda applicants having the same GP with me pls these two risks, are they productive or does it have any side effect, pls i need your answer and clarification. because as i said earleir, you are the current oga of this forumn |

I am also a prospective student like you but going by the path you are planning to take, it may not be productive at all, why? because any house that is built with saliva, you know what the result will be.If you are not having enough, you can also try Germany, I guess the fees there is about 1.8 million Naira. olasco123: hi Starflux please there is something i have not got right from the requirements, some school are asking that you fill a form asking you about your ECTS equivalent in Nigeria. how does one go about that.Which school is this? A bachelor degree with English as the language of instruction should be sufficient in most cases. @ Ezegozie Sorry, I don't support crime. Let me know when you want to do it the proper way. 1 Like |

StarFlux: i have never had any crime record and will not start in my Msc application, all i did was to ask you for an advice on the trick i want to play as somebody that have the experience and expected something like Do this, it will help you or don't do this, its risky just like honourableseyi advised not telling me you don't support crime, because i dont remember saying that you support crime. Or telling you dat i am a crime doer 2 Likes |

olasco123: Hi guys, this platform has been very informative to me, especially at this very moment of my decision making. i previously made an attempt to escape from the uncertainty of this country some time ago, though i had a good job but for fear of unknown decided to move to North America without having access to this kind of platform where I can get cheap and valuable information . I moved back to 9ja after 2 years when things didn't work out especially because i never wanted to continue living in a foreign land illegally since my primary motive was the future of my Kids. Now with my little experience I discovered that one of the smarted way to go, work and eventually settle abroad with your family is through education. I have searched and made several findings on the most cost effective way of getting admitted and schooling abroad taking cognizance of flexibility of admission requirement, School fees, job opportunity while studying and most importantly What-Next-After-study (Permanent Residence). i guz l'm on d same track wit u concernin d two countries u picked, plz hw do i start up d process of d free tuition fees of both Norway and Germany. |

Ezegozie:My friend. Everything you've asked is self-explanatory. I'm not saying this because I don't want to help you, but because doing such a thing could take away the admission spot from another fellow Nigerian that worked his/hers way up the ladder in a fair and respectful manner. That is all. 3 Likes |

My brother, starflux, I respect you becouse of your sincere responses. However, i will encourage you not to indulge this kind of criminal minded people. You can be sure that this guy is definitely going to that country to perfect his fraudulent orientation. I hope one day Nigerians will stand against fraudulend minded Nigerians giving the innocent ones bad names, home and abroad. He does not only percieve this dirty ideas, but also come to an open forum like this and say it. My friend. Everything you've asked is self-explanatory. MrniceG] They are both easy, with their different conditions, you just go through the schools online. basically most schools in Norway doesnt ask for TOEFL from Nigerians for master but you may need about 3Million naira for the Fund transfer while Germany requires TOEFL and GRE but the fund is about 2M read other conditions as you surf the internet i guz l'm on d same track wit u concernin d two countries u picked, plz hw do i start up d process of d free tuition fees of both Norway and Germany.[/quote] |

He does not only percieve this dirty ideas, but also come to an open forum like this and say it. Mr man what is your problem in life? Why are you so dumb to understand a simple sentence? I gues dat is the main reason you failed woefully in North America with your family and if care is not taken, you will also fail again in Norway if by any mistake you find yourself there As i said earlier, i am a final year student dat is still naive on the issue of this stuff, and i am trying hard to get myself competent for the competitive course i am planning to apply by graduating with a nice result and obtaining any oda documents dat will make me stand out from the crowd. And as somebody dat is always careful with his actions, i asked Starflux for advice and he adviced me not to do dat because it will deprive odas their chance. Why then do you say i am criminal minded? I think you are the one dat is criminal minded, who knows what you did in North America dat made them to deport you? I advice you to go back to school and learn how to understand simple sentences first before looking for country to go, because if you continue with this mindset of calling everybody around you criminals then you and ur family will surely be deported from Norway just as you people were deported from North America FO O L at 70 |

@All, Please we shouldn't derail this thread from it's primary assignment. Please let's forgive and forget ourselves for God sake. We are here to help one another, we shouldn't misuse this golden opportunity by fighting ourselves thereby allowing the objective of this thread to be defeated. This thread has been of immense help to me and so many people across Nigeria and beyond, please and please one house. @Ezegozie, Please let's forget about this and move forward. What is the next step for you as it is now?. Also after looking critically at your case again, it will be cumbersome for you to live with 1million per year in Norway because things are very expensive in Norway. The standard of living is high. Mind you, you may have to learn Norwegian Language before you can be able to get a nice job to support yourself which will take you close to a year. As for Germany, your money will be in a block account which means you will not be able to withdraw more than 650 euro per month. But it seems things are less expensive in Germany than Norway . Just weigh the two and go for the best that will not make you suffer in a strange land. Above all, support whatever step you want to take with prayers, it's not as if I had the money too but I'm trusting God. I prayed the Lord will see us through in Jesus name. Shalom 1 Like |

But did i hear you say dat 1million Nigerian naira will not be enough for me in just 12months? i.e 365 days? Haba, am even planning on using dat 1million for 2yrs. If dat is the case, then i think i shouldn't take the risk of applying to Norway universities unless i have a strong sponsor dat will take care of that by then, because the highest my parents can do now is 1million nothing more nothing less. Let me do my Msc here in Nigerian university that are good in PETROLEUM GEOLOGY like Uniport University of Ibadan ABU UNILORIN OAU after applying to those universities, then i will also apply for scholarship for abroad universities if i get the scholarship i will go, if not i will stay here nigeria and do my Msc. Then after getting employment, i will now go to Canada or UK for my masters. I better be a king in Nigeria than a slave in a foriegn land. Thanx for your advice |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by StarFlux: 7:27pm On Oct 03, 2013 |
Yes, that 1 million naira will not be enough for 2 years. If you get a job relatively fast it wouldn't be a problem, but it's not enough for 2 years. Probably not even 1. |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by honourableseyi: 10:39pm On Oct 03, 2013 |
Ezegozie: Yes 1 million will not be enough like my oga at the top(starflux) has said. But you can ask from him(starflux) if 2million will be enough for a year. I believe when you get there, with God's help you may be able to secure a job that can take care of your second year maintenance fees. Don't give up, try and pray about it. God will see us through 1 Like |

Because I wish not to come back to Nigeria after studying, please need some reasonable resonses to this! Thanks to y'all |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by StarFlux: 4:15pm On Oct 04, 2013 |
@MrniceG I don't know anything about Germany, I'm very sorry. It'd be better if you went to a German forum or something like that. @benrichie46 After studying you have a couple of options. You can apply for a visa renewal. Either because you want to further your studies or if you want to find work as a skilled worker. If the latter is the case, you will be granted a resident permit for 6 months which you can use to apply for work. |
