When I gained admission into lasu during the 2009/2010 session I heard about the scholarship scheme and was informed if I could attain a cgpa of 4.0 ,then I will automatically become a beneficiary under the scheme.. So I just worked hard and at the end of the session my cgpa was a little above 4 point sha... During the next session, I think late first semester all scholars name were pasted at each faculty boards and scholars were informed about the scholarship ceremony which was to be held in their honour.. The scholars name were also published in punch newspaper before the scholars ceremony. The scholarship ceremony was just a formality, though it's a great feeling to sit in a hall filled with other intelligent peeps like u sha...,,but all the same we were not interested in the boring talks and round of applause which we had to bear from all speakers during the ceremony, we were more interested in when our cheque will be ready.....So we picked up our scholarship letters at the faculty office and proceeded with it to the Bursary office at the admin block and collected our cheques the following week. .Note: that was the 20k which was the allowance for textbooks... The refund of school fees came very late, as a matter of fact I collected my school fees back this year.....Since then lasu hasn't paid out scholarship funds... so for 200level we are yet to collect, and 300level as well though during our 300level the scholarship qualification point was increased to 4.5 since more scholars were emerging each session and lasu no want make all these scholars run dem down...Lol...

It depends. I don't stay in off camp accommodation. I come from home not too far from lasu. There are posters in lasu advertising accommodation, but be sure u see d place b4 paying any money - convinience is very important. I will also advice u don't go for d cheap ones.

Accommodation is not that expensive in ojo...I just gained admission too and my house is just like 30 minutes walk from home to LASU ....you guys need not worry

A female shouldn't have any problem with accommodation. Lasu has female hostel, n there is one juliana (4 females only) hostel close to lasu.

I also stay in lagos around ogba bt my house is really far from school,so will alsoo be needing accomodation nd a room mate also,nd pls has ny1 printed the jamb admission letter? Kos jamb still tells me no admiSsion yet.

As for medical stds...
I guess moremi hostel and some others wil do.
U know we need to live and work & read together..

If you are a Muslim I we advice you togo to school mosque and reg for MSSN hostel.

if u are a female and ur parents have got the bucks,then go for julian hostel...its just a little stone throw from the school,as a matter of fact its just outside the small gate at the back of lasu... my friend's gf that stays there says its 115k per student and two students stay in a room...its a modern hostel with cctv,mall,24hours power supply,a common room equiped with dstv ,etc.....for the guys,just go for lily nest hotel,its in ojo not too far from alaba. its equally Behind and a little bit expensive but u wont regret staying there . i have friends who stay there.....for those who cant afford these places,then u will need to get hostel in areas like okoko,iyana isashi,ojo town,post service,ppl,cassidey etc..i have a guy who can procure hostel for u there...if u are interested i will drop his number
