whitecat007: Cos some people wanted him yo fail and he fell right into their hands, hopefully he got some lessons out of this cos he can't keep going like this. I believe he was desparate for job and thought he could cut corners with the budget. I will still let him handle my project. I love comeback stories and something tells this is one of them. Bro, I wish you the very best. I admire your resilience in defending Brabus. I also hope your proposed project with Brabus will be a comeback story for him. Good Luck. 3 Likes |

gabbytabby: To be sincere good thing dont come cheap your offer determine what you get, and you dont need to spend too much for non quality item nor spend low hoping to get quality items the best and trusted supplier on nairaland is checkitout I stand to be corrected with checkitout you get the right quality and quantity to serve your use, well choice and taste matters too buy can you verify the quality of the item or product spend wise and appreciate good work |
Re: The Chateau In Ile-oluji: Our Construction Journal by TBrownAuto(m): 1:25pm On Dec 10, 2013 |
lawyer: @brabus @Lawyer most nairaland contractor dont have certificate we are in Nigeria we knows our the game goes and those that call their self professional I appreciate your job but not with standard wise or accuracy. some professional make you spend money on non needed item where as a mere product can do the job make u do dcp where mere flooring will do the job so what do you call that?. please let brabus clear him self them if found quilty as charged he can be kicked out but let him clear him self because here what is see is House owner want good job for little payment, brabus need job moving along with owner because he know the owner will realise he has to spend more when the job commence its common with hand work people if you argue with them they will let you know its there job the hard way |

Demain_man: hmm this case no need for sentiment but you are not honest with your self to be sincere they collected money for job job not done fine, what about other done that are underpaid for?, its simple they will contact balance for you. more so let me define theif just funny is someone that know bread is 5naira but he got it for 3naira then need butter, butter is 3naira but he was cheated by same supplier and paid 5naira he later realise and accused the supplier fruad |

My brother, This is a very straight forward issue. Ask yourself this, Why always brabus? One would expect him to at least employ a capable money manager if he is unable to do this himself. Are we by any chance saying that the house is too cheap for 25M quoted by the client? I personally think the client paid too much for that 4-bed duplex. |
Re: The Chateau In Ile-oluji: Our Construction Journal by TBrownAuto(m): 2:16pm On Dec 10, 2013 |
Fine you are right I will never surport such act of money diversion, but when such issues repeat its self them there is common intrest between both parties for Brabus go and settle with the house owner to and discuss settlement ooooooo how to refund money accused of and owner you need bear some lost too and cash in your refund fast just no time to complete your project. For the amount 25M hmmmm i stand corrected building a house the amount spend on the structure is equal to the amount for the finishing excluding furnitures and the rest whenever is not equal or not balance so marginal diffrence are wel come check the quality of the house and material used. Talking about the amount the owner has taste shai the house is marvelous and the finishing is great so note when building once taste and standard is consider the pricing is always abnormal |

@TBrownAuto,I am only interested in ur statement that most nairaland contractors don't ve certificated. You may be right! But their is a thin line between contractors and professional that understand the science of building ;study the rudiments of Architecture! The former will be conscious of money at the expense of his integrity 3 Likes |

I for one like brabus's presentation skills. i don't have any doubt that he is a good and creative person. i just wish he takes a very hard a long look at himself and say to himself that never again will i mis-management other people's money. |

lawyer: @brabus I think why lawyer is asking for his credentials is because some of the allegations against him is that he lied about his credentials. It is okay to say you have just experience. When it becomes fraud is for you to say you have experience and technical qualifications which are made up. He should show lawyer evidence of his credentials and he should let us know what his findings are. Let us even start from there. |

daroseconcepts: @ all FYI. Brabus is handling my project. Matter of fact, today will be day #1 on the site. I know you all can't wait to call me a prospect victim or a "mugu". It is well IJN! I believe we all human can make mistakes. Better than that, I believe we all deserve a second chance. I look at the quality of the job he did on this thread and was convince I'm not going to regret it. Brabus might not be the best accountant or the most honest contractor but I belive he is a gentleman. It's okay if you wanna throw a rock or two at me. All I can is I thank God for ever thing. 6 Likes |

While not condoning misdemeanour in whatever guise, one certain thing you can't take away from Brabus irrespective of all that had transpired between him and his clients is the fact that the quality of his work is superb. We should not throw away the baby with the bathwater. Brabus is still my preferred builder any day! For him to have delivered the ile-oluji project up to the stage he parted with his client for a little over 20m!!!!!! despite the scope of the project, I really commend the quality of work. Even the much idolised Mandela never claimed to be a saint. My advice to Brabus is that he should always identify his rule of engagement on any project and everything should be in black and white. At least you have proved what you can do now! Learn how to handle project management especially finance. State from the word go, what your fees are and how you want to be paid if you are not handling the project 100%. I pray this chance you have now will be well utilised. |

Qc-1: This is good. Brabus has got another opportunity to prove himself. QC-1, I pledge my solidarity. May your project get to good completion. All I can say is finish strong. Opening a thread is entirely up to you. You may show us pictures of milestones completed. All the best. |

whitecat007: Why am I being singled out here when my post is not the worst. Who died and made you lord here? Knock yourself out, ban me. I know you are watching your meal ticket here, and brabus is one of those who has not pay the day. Little wonder you can't make it in the court room. Must you be abusive and insulting to make your point mister? I'm baffled that some minors found their way to the property forum, I thought they are consigned to romance, tribal politics and other crap forums on Nairaland. You should demonstrate your solidarity to Brabus by emulating the magnanimity of Qc-1 by awarding your building project to him. Qc-1 is probably the only one on this forum who supported Brabus up to the hilt by awarding his project to him and I expect others who believes in him to follow suit. Good luck everyone! (you need it abundantly). As far as this thread is concerned, I'm done. |

daroseconcepts:Bros, can a leopard change its spots? If this project is really happening what will happen is that Brabus will divert/convert funds to pay off part of his mounting debts and then Super Story Part 6 will commence. |

DUNKA: Bros, can a leopard change its spots? If this project is really happening what will happen is that Brabus will divert/convert funds to pay off part of his mounting debts and then Super Story Part 6 will commence. Well, that is why Brabus REALLY has a lot to prove with QC-1's project. At least QC-1 is putting his money where his mouth is. Lets see what unfolds... |

I can bet it that Brabus won't mess up again. But my concern is that I forsee 'problem 'this QC.or so has a tight budget if I could recall he intend to do something like mansion spyder is building in PH for 8m or 9m(carcass alone) but .Now, the question is. Where can he get much profit to settle outstanding at hand. Brabus, sincerely I fancy your style. All I can wish you is complete this guy project successfully and get more to get enough profit and settle problem at hand. I tell you u will come here boldly to forge ahead even on NL.....life goes on my brother! |
