Akudaya:myth Or Reality? by kelechiMarie(f): 2:58am On Aug 16, 2014 |
So i was listening to a radio show yesterday afternoon and the topic was on the existence of akudaya(dont know if there's an english word for it).It basically means a person who is dead but still continues living or is sighted by people in a location different from the one they lived while they were alive.A lot of people expressed belief in it and even gave their own experiences while others dismissed it as mere myth or fallacy. I've heard a lot of these stories from my mum and other people and also heard of cases where the deceased had sex with or had children with a living being and I've always wondered about the credibilty of such stories So,dear friends what stories have you heard? In your opinion does akudaya exist and if you believe in its existence, have you had any personal encounters or experiences? Feel free to share P.S:I don't know if this is the right section to post this,so if it isn't mods please help move it to the right section 6 Likes 5 Shares |

I've heard numerous stories about this akudaya but i will share 1 that really shocked me. A young man who happened to be the only son of his parents died miserably. Though i wasn't told where he died or how he died. He was the heir to the fathers wealth as the only son. The man was said to have established a business booming with lots of customers in lagos(why always lagos?).... He also got married but not legally to a pretty young lady there and they had kids... When the young man sensed his time of existence as partial human was coming to an end, he talked to his wife about seeing his parents (i still ask myself, why now?). The wife agreed. They were few distant away from home before the man came up with excuse.... He told his wife he needed to get some items from the market. He gave the wife direction on how she'd be able to locate their main house. The wife with the kids kept going. On reaching the house, the mother of the man saw them and asked if they were looking for some one. The lady described whom they were looking for and coincidentally, she was speaking to the mother in-law.... The lady told her that she's the wife of her son... The old woman, amazed by what she heard couldn't believe it.... She took the lady to the place where the man was buried and told her that he died a long time ago.... The lady was skeptical and decided to call her husband on phone but it wasn't through.... That was how the man disappeared into thin air till today. The question i still ask myself is - Are the kids half man-half spirit? 60 Likes 6 Shares |

Akudaya: Myth or Reality? What is Akudaya? It simply means incarnation or reincarnation. Myth or Reality? Both Explain please: It is a myth because when a person dies he(or she) does not come back to life(world). He(or she) can no longer be seen. How then is it real. But we hear stories about them. So?. Jinn(Alujonu) at work. They take form of dead people. They could take form of your grandfather that died longtime ago and people who know your grandfather will confirm seeing him. In short, the reality is 'he' is seen. The myth is the person seen is not your real grandfather. You can get deep sense of this in Islam. When someone dies, that's it. The person is dead for real whether natural death or murdered. Jinns reside in dirty, filthy places, like bathroom, filthy uncompleted building. That's why it's advisable to wear clothe to cover private part when taking shower. Cover yourself with blanket (etc) during intercourse. Don't be scared now. They don't necessarily reside in all dirty bathrooms or places. Jinns are endowed with supernatural perception. They lodge where they can see human but human beings can not see them. They can see you taking shower, having intercourse etc. Most of them are liars. Never take their words seriously. In a nutshell, if you see "Akudaya", a relative, he or she is not your relative so long as the person is dead. Hope this answer your question. kelechiMarie: wow this is really helpful thanks but what language is jinn from and the children they have are they man or spirit? Jinns speak any language in the environment they are. I dont think it's appropriate to call them spirit. The word is too loose. Angels are called spirit. Human soul is also called. It's safe to call them "supernatural beings" in the sense that we cant see them. They live longer than human beings. Some of them live as low as 2000yrs old. Some live longer. They live among human in their own planet(Sammawat). That is, different dimension of space and time. I am sorry there is no way i can describe this without a bit of religious sentiment. So please pardon me. Qur'an says that 1000 yrs is 1 day with God, 50yrs is one day with God etc. This means different sammwat(planet is close definition). Their planet is within the human earth. I wish i can explain better. There is a Yoruba movie titled "Aiye Tuntun" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAdn40JKM9c . The movie gives a clue about sammawat. So Jinns live among us but in their own sammawat where we cant see them. I tried to explain this. 37 Likes 3 Shares |

seunlayi: it is real, what about the appearance of Jesus to his disciples? According to Islam, Jesus is NOT dead. Therefore when Jesus appeared to his disciples it was him. When he returns in the Last Age, his is not incarnate. He's Jesus(as) 26 Likes |

kelechiMarie: okay so they take on the appearance of dead relatives right? BUT CAN THEY HAVE CHILDREN WITH HUMANS? Quran says: "And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). " Jinn have been given power to change their form and appear in front of human beings in various forms; such as an animal, a reptile, or even a human being. There are righteous ones among them. Not all of them are evil. Do They Die: Yes. Jinn do die. As long as they are creatures created by Allah (swt), they should die. They are creatures that marry, produce children, eat, drink, and die like all other creatures in the universe. One may read Qur'an Surah Al-Rahman (The Most Merciful) [Qur'an, 55:26-28]. 30 Likes 3 Shares |

Everything obeys the rule even spiritual things and spirits that why spiritual things are similar. As a scientist I believe not in sectional truth, this is the reason black equals lack. MightySparrow: It's funny how Christians, Pagans and Atheists would damn Islam and Muslims, yet many of your (you folks) topics and posts always have to do with Islam or Muslims. You guys are so obsessed with Islam. That's not by accident though. It's sign of Islam claim to truth. Which religion do you subscribe to? 19 Likes 4 Shares |
