Evathyst: d same remfad school invited me for thr interview, bt unfortunately nobody seems 2knw of thr salary structure. If I dnt knw of a school's salary structure, I dnt think I can stress myself attending thr interview. Make I no com reach thr finish, dem com dey yarn Portuguese on top money matter. Myn isn't unemployment, it's under-employment. Nd by Heavens grace, dt condition of myn wil improve to gainful employment. Bottom line, I'm not desperate. Its unfortunate how many Nigerian graduates complain of unemploumrnt but refuse to attend interviews for jobs they duly applied for. in the past two weeks I've sent out inviations to 15 applicants for interview on 2 different days. But none showed up. I even called some of them and they confirmed they got the invitations. For me its corpers henceforth. They will cost me less to maintain. |

Another thing is if you can put up the range of salary to be expected, I'm sure you'll see people turning up to attend the interviews. Corpers are easy to maintain too but think of continuity, changing teachers is not like changing clothes. It affect the students a lot. 1 Like |

Unfortunately I am one of those who applied for the job in question and hasn't been able to show up for an interview. At first it wasn't my fault as your school failed to send me invitation for the job test after shortlisting me. I complained to you last weekend of which you asked me to call and pick a date for interview. I would have called you by now but somehow I am financially down at the moment, however, I am still very much interested in the job and I hope to come down for interview early next week if it won't be late by then. Please I need you to give me from now till early next week before then I should have the fare to come over. Thanks for your understanding. I will put a call across to tomorrow morning unfailingly. @Saoseun and Luvola, I usually ask, what efforts have you made within your environment? Please, do make efforts. Most of us wait for advertised vacancies before we apply. There are schools within and around Ikorodu, all you need to do is drop your resume and again, these is the period school recruit massively. In line with the directive given by the Federal Government to all schools, this is a perfect time to drop your resume. For those at idumota, Obalende and environs the best you can get is a private lesson. Remember......... Looking for a job is a job itself. 2 Likes |

It's now left to the applicant to apply or not to apply knowing fully what to expect. This method is also beneficial to the school as they won't get to process loads of applications and they won't have to use the whole day bargaining salary with applicants. 1 Like |
