Sometimes it's simply mind boggling. Countless times, the dressing of a celebrity to an event is enough to make front page. The other day it was armed robbers who pray before going for operations. Even pictures of how celebrities clean their homes or cook make front page yet topics which can add to forum members intelligence, promote unity of the nation are relegated to the background. I know it is certainly an arduous task selecting topics for the front page but I feel I as well as other honourable members of the this forum have a right to know the prerequisites for selection. Because, handing over the responsibility of notifying you of front page material to anyone will not be BEST FOR BUSINESS, especially in politics section where almost everybody, including the MODS are biased, otherwise, why these topics are condemned to rot in Health and politics sections?

Maybe you should do it the reddit way where people can vote for topics to be forwaded to Front page so that when it reaches a particular number of votes, the mods will be notified and the mods can sort them out

Anyway op if really want to make front page just bookmark sites like Premium times, Sahara reporters and all those amebo sites and keep vigil waiting for bad news and scandals like Pastor Adegboye marries 2nd wife, Tinubu decamps to PDP, Boko haram takes over Aso rock.... make sure U are the first to rebroadcast and gbam you are on front page whether oga seun likes it or not. Bad news is front page material any day.

Seun , I have looked for this kind of article on Nairaland however now I discovered one. Nairaland wants to turn to an entertainment site only, Infact 75% of post(frontpage) are entertainment,but that isn't my problem.Sometimes I will feeling like composing a educating article yet I won't be impressed when I see 100 of posts having low views.

Sometimes I posted articles firstand it won't be moved to the homepage but sometimes another user will post a similar article and will be moved.

That day I was pitiful and I even sent a mail to the mods,no one reacted

Sometimes,I will mails to the supermods to notify them of my new post however there will be no changes

A year ago I even deactivated my account out of anger when my blog that was about Technology/Health have about 60topic life helping article and none of the articles was moved to Homepage.I just made another one this new year when I have no choose,All due to traffic.

I was sad and angry when I saw a user that all his entertainment post was moved to frontpage and his/her isn't mods ,but why.

I can mention names if you want.

Seun ,if it's not too much try to help us,there some nairalanders that spend through 2-3hours to compose a decent article however won't be valued.

I send private sends/messages to mods, just the mods will know how often I sent them sends and message yet no difference.
