Finally suffered my first defeat of the season! All indicators are red, pointing down-south like I'm from Bayelsa!

The red cards have been disrupting my transfer plans, now I'm limited on transfers. May just take the -4pt hit next gmweek.

Good to see some managers on green though. #Dyabs, I sight you, seems u'll make another manager of the week this week.

As a Veteran in the game this is just too early but one needs to keep the focus on; week in week out.

come next game week you will be going up North like you originated from Kano grin

Tough weekend! Whew.

Thank God, I am hanging on. Rooney messed my Captain (Falcao) up. Captain returned 10! SMH. Still holding to second and 15 in Nigeria for now. Hopefully, Shawcross will score 2 own goals and a red card wink.

It's tough up here.

Handed you your first L though

Wetin man go do now.....Rooney had a neurotic breakdown that almost cost his team the 3 points and definitely created problems for a lot of Fpl managers.

We are still going strong though - intelligesia

WOW!!! shocked shocked shocked

I made the first page. 48th on the log.

This is awesome. Can't believe my luck.

One thing i like about this game is that, no position is permanent on the log. it keeps changing.

I might not have the luck of gracing this 1st page again, but for now let me enjoy the moment while it last.

Hoping to stick there.

Nairaland Fantasy Tabloid: Sallah Edition!

Low Point Ruins Managers' Week

A week to forget as managers scramble for non existing points. With average point of 38, it was a terrible outing for many managers as there seem to be little or no activity from the midfield and even less cleansheets on display. The usual top performers had a terrible outing and most teams settled for less. Despite the low point accumulation, some managers still had a breakthrough and made positive results. Dyabscanmadeit was the biggest benefactor as he leaped from the #27th position to occupy #5th position. Raumdeuter moved to #8 from #12 while Enyimba was shoved down to #14th from #7. Chelseablazers are moved to firstpage at #48 while AirbourneLacers couldn't maintain the pressure of firstpage after being forced out last week, moved further down to #70.

League cups

At the FA cup, Disvirginators retain their #1 spot with 100% winning streak while the P'ornstars moved to the 3rd position after an impressive back-to-back win. Intelligesia suffered its first defeat of the season in the hands of Green Pressers to move to 2nd position while Debosky's AvantGarde defeated Az to move to 15th on the table. Despite its woeful home performance Lagos FC secured all 3pts against the toothless Brutalion while skywalker recorded its first win of the season over a less-fancied Librans FC whose rumored romance with non-performing star player, Yaya Toure is gradually ruining the club.

At the carling cup, penguins maintained their 100% winning streak to retain top position while Arab Contractors suffered their first loss of the season in the hands of Spindex to drop to 4th position. Oluamyd's Phoenixes suffered yet another loss in the hands of Kelvinho FC, leaving the home fans to wonder why the management spent so much time and energy to effect a change of name and will surely be demanding for a change in manager soon. Pharoh's Armies moved to 19th position with an emphatic defeat of Gbongan FC. Jidoxycated Noise Makers couldn't shout their way thru as they suffered an emphatic defeat in the hands of Dare2blues who are facing a tricky fixture against Nnukwu Mmanwu this week.

At the Conference cup, Teeo's Devils managed a slim 1pt win over Dragon FC while Ijesha warriors recorded an away win over Lasgidi Utd. Samurai Monsters and Mean Machines still top the table with their 100% win record and will be looking forward to retain the record as they face Big Test Icles and Kontokarfi Smelters away from home respectively.

Team of the week: Dyabscanmadeit

Despite the low turn out of points, manager Bammy of Dyabscanmadeit accumulated 61pts to make the manager of the week. He remains the only manager to be featured twice as the manager of the week in the tabloid and this remain a great feat. His impressive climb on the table was another great achievement this week as he made it to top 5 with a single week's performance. Hopefully, he will continue to feature as the manager of the week for months to come.

Pick of the week: Intelligesia moves to #1 in Nigeria!

Despite this being just the 7th week, its worthy to mention that our own Intelligesia is presently occupying the #1 position in the country. This is worthy to note as we strive to make the Nairaland fantasy one of the best in the world, joining the likes of footballpundits, footballcheats and others. We all hope the manager, seyi42k maintains this tempo and makes us all proud. Disvirginators made us proud last year (despite the arrogance), he finished #1 in Nigeria and #69 in the world. Hopefully, someone can match and/or beat that record.

The weekend is here once more and lots of permutations and combinations, Probability and Statistics are taking place already; hopefully, one of those will help you hit it big.

Barka Da Sallah, and see you at the top.

Apologies for the late publication of this edition. It seems late for gameweek previews, so let the managers freestyle us this week and tell us who they are captaining, and what their expectations are for the week.

For me, I'm not expecting much this week. Red cards have been ruining my transfer plans, so I took a -4pts hit this week; hopefully, the effects wouldn't be as disastrous as I'm calculating. If I still retain top 10 after this week, then it will be a miracle!

Falcao is wearing my armband. Had to sell Rooney, then downgrade szeczny to Mannone in order to afford him. Still have Loveren and Chester in my defense and they've survived the axe so far because of red cards ruining my plans. Still don't understand why Steve Bruce isn't playing Chester though. My defense has been sh'it despite some decent and cheap lads out there in the transfer market doing good. Will really work on my defense after the break.

Sigurdsson baby!

Had to drop Naismith for this chap and he justified that call with 2 assists.

Sterling with an assist too?

It only gets better folks.

Steve Bruce decided to play Chester today that I hid him in the bench cry cry

.

Those two lads won't bring any differential as almost all managers have them. So the points you gained, was gained by others too.

Ever thought of missing out on those points?

I'm not concerned about what the other folks are doing, I'm concerned about my team.
