Karleb:Erhm... As a keyboardist, what's your definition of MUSIC? Let's start with that. |
Re: A Thread For Keyboardists by Karleb(m): 8:23pm On Oct 04, 2014 |
gameboi: Music is the combination of sound that please the hear. Edited As a keyboardist, Music is the combination of painstakingly combinated and created sounds which follows a pattern. |

Karleb:you're wrong oh! I'll give you a little assignment. On the key of Cmajor, play the following progression. 1st progression: [Cmajor=C-E-G][BbMaj9 =Bb-C-D-F][F major=F-A-C]. 2nd Progression: [Cmaj=C-E-G][Bbmaj9=Bb-C-D-F][Dmin=D F A]. 3rd Progression: [Cmaj=C E G][Bbmaj9=Bb C D F][Aminor=A C E]. What do you notice about the three progressions? and in which one is there a balance from the tension created by the Bbmaj9 chord? 1 Like |
