Who has ever done exactly that on this thread? Everybody once in a while posts NON-MILITARY comments and we feast on it for a while, then return to our normal military food. No big deal, all we need is to use common sense and avoid crossing the line. I avoid any negative reference to anybody's family. I can cast jokes about your friends, but not your family
.
I just find it childish, for people to take offence from insults directed to them from the web.

Happy you note clearly that was an insult. Question is: why was that directed at me? I've got no qualms with intelligent debates and diatribes ... But I'll take exception to unprovoked rascal tendencies ... the type coming from an uncultured DieVluit. Insults? First of, Nobody knows everything, neither did I claim I knew everything.

On the question, you don't go about printing/posting names of heroic soldiers like they're some filthy statistics on the wall. We don't keep scores with dirty terrorists. We make sure we facilitate their meeting with their maker. No question asked.

This is what is important, Dead soldiers are giving a proper military burial, there Gratuities are paid to their next of kin and the state pays for the eduction of their wards, including free medical care at military and government hospitals.

"Gen. Chris Olukolade @GENOlukolade3d
On Honour for Slain Soldiers: We do give due/befitting burials. Publicity is deliberately downplayed owing to sentiment #VictoryforNigeria"

Nigeria has lost around 400 troops since the start of this insurgency.

Henry when it comes to deception I give you an A+
400 really you expect me to believe that, that's sound like your own personal estimation, don't lie to us dude.
Here's a link that says you're lying, your people quickly buried on the battlefield I assume that's to hide to actual numbers which proves that N.A is losing a lot more men than its claiming.

The worst part about this is that none of these claims are made by a crazy journalist who was not even on the battlefields or some beat up commanders trying to bet back their pride, but actually these claim are made by your own soldiers dude your own troops are telling the media that their comrades are being buried in shallow graves to hide the truth. And yet you guys have the balls to claim that S.A is hiding 37 bodies, lol hahahahahahahaha wow SANDF is very transparent when it comes to revealing the truth about our dead soldiers including the ones killed in the most screwed up and careless accidents, we honour them all, and we never leave them behind and we don't prevent their families from taking or seeing their bodies once they get back home.

In any case, wing commander Hedima is not a case of publicity downplayed. It's case of identity denied.

The question for you is: what is your point? Copied and pasted a link with a SaharaReporters story by a nameless reporter? Where in that link does it mention number of NA troop colleagues that have died? In a day's battle SANDF lost close to 50 men according to eyewitness reports ... now do the ratio Maths with about 400 men in more 2years of insurgent confrontation.

My point is that two can play the game of claiming that one is hiding the death statistics of their soldiers, because you guys are claiming that we lost 50 soldiers when the only evidence you have are just so called eye witnesses whom being a journalist who wasn't even there when the battle happened and a commander and his troops who earlier admitted to getting their butts kicked, so I can also claim that eyewitnesses being your own soldiers saw their own comrades being buried in shallow grave on the battle fields because an article says so.

Yes I know the article doesn't mention any numbers, but the fact that soldiers are claiming that dead troops are hastily buried after being killed makes the 400 soldiers KIA, sound very suspicious and inaccurate and that it could be more than that.

What makes the story from a faceless and nameless "journalist" a fact? In contrast the journalists in SANDF's CAR debacle have real names and faces. Tell us which soldiers they interviewed and where the interview happened? In the North East frontlines or access controlled military barracks? Beat that!

Dude any slowpoke can go on camera and reveal their name and identity and claim sh*t that aint true, so you're telling me that since those people revealed their names what they said is true?

Fact is French troops *Legitamate Witnesses* confirmed the number of dead SANDF soldiers because the base was under their control and we couldn't fly out any bodies without them knowing. Which proves that your claims are as insufficient as the claims of Nigerian Soldiers are burying their dead on the battle field, the point of my original post was to prove that its very easy for a person to post stories without facts and pass them on as fact.

Probably the main reason you asked for their own death statistics.

Your journalist only included the names of a Seleka rebel commander and his troops who and got f*cked up by S.A and then he also wrote about an unknown source who was at the airport who claims to have seen more than 15 bodies being loaded into a C-130, so your argument is crap becasuse your journalist talks about a mysterious and unknown source who saw more than 15 bodies

On the other hand, I understand where the Nigerian military comes from. They are used to their soldiers abandoning post and mission and fleeing at the first sign of trouble. They refuse to believe this is their own man. If he had cut and run into Cameroon, then they'd accept that he's their officer; and then proceed to charge him with something.

By the way, amnesty international rejects the death penalty imposed on Nigeria's mutiny soldiers. This military really knows how to build morale...not.

Just to titillate your tiny brains a bit.

No international journalist worth his/her reputation will go out to make false claims. #Reputation is the name of the trade. French troops have corroborated the same news by the CAR based journalists who remain impartial observers and legitimate witnesses to the awe and shock SELEKA delivered to your SANDF. It is interesting how suddenly you finally concede that the French were the real forces in control of CAR, hence the desperate need for #safepassage.

Let your ignorance be your light. It must be shining so bright that blinds you from reality. Speak for SANDF and your missing troops. The NA is an accountable force. Fallen colleagues are never left behind. #weGiveHonourToOurTroops
