Have you ever been to a bank and spent more time than neccesary?. And the next thing you here after the frustration is 'thank you for banking with us'. Isn't that annoying. To me sure it is. So now if a person wants to open an account, which bank will you recommend without bias?. 4 Likes 5 Shares |

My Friend and all others that will see this, I prefer UBA bank to any other!!! Cards are widely accepted, you can receive wire transfer easily and its also affordable !!! If you are banking for Paypal purposes then I think FirstBank will be a good option (they are the only Nigerian Paypal Partner for now) 28 Likes 4 Shares |

Zenith bank is the best bank for business guys who want the best of services and world class customer care. No queue, prompt attention, 5mins turnaround time, easy access to facilities provided you satisfy the requirements, and so much more. The zenithdirect online customer service is currently the best in the industry, no bendgates. Having its customers best interests at heart all the time, zenith banks charges are transparent, low and pocket friendly when compared with other banks. E.g., you will get your token for as low as N1000 (can you beat that?). Ever used Zenith bank's eazymoney app? Anyway, just imagine yourself stranded in a village with no internet access or recharge card sellers. All you need to do is dial *966*amount# and your phone will be recharged immediately. Thats a first in Nigeria. To learn more about how Zenith bank can assist you to grow your business, kindly visit http://www.zenithbank.com/ 49 Likes 1 Share |

odikomo1: For your best banking experience, come bank with us at standard chartered bank. Is a bank where they treat customers like royalties and have one of the best internet banking system, couple with a lot of investment advice that will help u build your financial portfolio. They also offer loan facilities to their customers. Is not a kind of bank where u find every dick and harry because is an elicit kind of bank. So u can't spend up to 5 minutes in the banking hall on a transaction 10 Likes 4 Shares |

I so much hate UBA. From their always faulty doors to their bad customer service. Because of their faulty doors, I don't wear belt anymore to that bank.......I got tired of security men asking if I have any metal object on me. 179 Likes 8 Shares |

The best in Lagos may turn out as the worst in Onitsha. Just walk into any bank closest to you and make enquiries, necessary checks & physical assesments like queue, population. If you're a business person with constant mobility, you might consider other attributes. The fact that you have lots of friends banking with GTB or UBA doesn't mean you should join the train (even when the crowd around the bank is as wide as the road to hell). I used to bank with Mainstreet (former Afribank), reasons owing to the fact that I hardly come across faulty Mainstreet ATM, also I rarely meet 3 customers in the banking hall. The no-stress discovery made me recommend this bank to my dad sometimes back and so far, we have no regret. It all depends on what you want, but always remember, none will pay you salary for banking with them. 93 Likes 5 Shares |

I bank with stanbic ibtc bank currently but i'm considering closing my account there and opening a new account with a different bank. I lost my sim together with my phone. I later bought a new phone and a new sim. Went to the bank and requested a change of mobile number so as to be getting alert on any transaction I make. The customer care said I should put it into writing(letter) which I did but all to no avail. I then went to another branch to complain about it hoping it would be resolved there. To my greatest surprise, the customer care there declined to my request. WHY? she said my account wasn't opened in that branch albeit I have provided every proof she asked for. The bank sucks big time. I think GT bank is your best option. 11 Likes 1 Share |
