And we still see people that shout "GEJ till 2019" undecided

That's a good reason to know why Wizkid and Davido sell and bag awards more than Asa.

The country is filled with dumbos. Maybe we'll have a country populated with intelligent ones in the next generation. That want more out of life and understand what governance is all about, take away all sentiments and will not give corruption a second chance.

Jet that have been leased to a 3rd party?.. People buys cars and give to transport day in day out.. So if the car becomes involved in maybe smuggling.. The original owners should be arrested abi... Is anything wrong with d pastor supporting Jonathan?.. Why are Nigerians sooo concerned about the fact that the original owner of the Jet is a pastor and yet dismiss the fact that the FGN said the money is for procurement of weapons... ..nyways....
Umm...

Maybe because the FGN has like 20 jets they could've picked from to fly to SA instead of involving and exposing Oritsejafor as a probable terrorist.

What of this case that involves bank transaction

Why did SA seized the money and made a public case of it without consulting the government secretly for clarification

Look at this lunatic. You think the whole world is as corrupt and lawless as your country?

Mann... Its realy bad elder ...quite shameful indeed. 10-14 pages of Pure Rubbish...
They were so janjaweeded, or should i say 'jaded' in their vision to EVEN see that, this time around their Government did this one basicaly the 'right way', ...wired transfers, registered arms COs and all...
Pity, it probably became even clearer 2 that poor company that they were in 'Far Above Their Heads' on this one, and there was one big conspiracy against their Clients (Nigeria). ...hehe, a routine re-registration applied for since JUNE remained Unattended to on somebodies table for all these months. The suckers, alarmed, then tried to do the right thing by wirering the funds back to their clients, only to have the funds seized (months later) on 'A REGISTERATION TECHNICALITY, COOKED UP BY THE SAME AMERICAN/SA AUTHORITIES THAT CREATED THE TECHNICALITY IN THE FIRST PLACE'. Haba is that what 170m 9ja guys who pride themselves on being the 'sharpest' on the continent couldnt see (merely at first glance here)!!
It now becomes clearer why Sambo Dasuki and co (many months later) tried to keep the AMERICAN/SA people off the scent by going 'CASH' in the last $9.3m deal, but their internal Moles here tipped them off again. They most be laughing their heads off by now, yet I shudder to imagine them reading all the tonnes of rubbish in the last 12 or so pages of this thread to add more insult to the injury ...Damn.

One has to be as polite as one can be, so i've left my post till when i'm sure a large majority of the 'kids' would have succombed to sleep so as not to spoil their fun for them, masturbating against GEJ and the GOVT.

PS. Ehm... I AM VERY PROUD TO BE A NIGERIAN!!

I think it is important we analyse the wire transfer for the $5.7m. Before that kind of transfer is done several processes are carried out on both sides. Central Bank officials of both countries would have been notified because of the huge amount involved. If there was any illegality about it the transfer would not have gone through in the first place. So the SA Bank received the money and had no problems until the money was to be returned to Nigeria. Interesting!

Furthermore , those people running their mouth like busted pipe might not see , but this latest news explains that the problem in the first place was caused by south african authorities, for not renewing trading licence for the arms broker who had submitted application for 4 months

It is also clear that the deal , the first case and this one was not illegal, But they won't talk, those mumu people who said CAN president is Boko Haram sponsor, they are reading this news but they won't talk , Please increase that font size ..[/size]

Re: South Africa Seizes Another $5.7m Nigeria’s Arms Deal by 817: 6:41am On Oct 07, 2014
My opinion on the whole issue is that the whole deal was not handled properly by those who negotiated the deal.

When dealing in the arms market as a sovereign nation it is expedient that you play by the rules book even when buying arms from
Eastern Europe where majority of countries who do not have good standing with the west go to acquire arms. First the NSA did the correct thing by issuing an End User Certificate. But there is no way those arms can be exported without the arms manufacturer getting an End User Certificate from the host government allowing the exportation of arms out of that country. Second if we wanted to get these arms from the black market why not go straight to to the main market in Eastern Europe since we are not sure of the quality of Chinese made weapons. Also there are several renowned Nigerian arms dealers who have in previous occasions acted as middle men and obtained arms or military hardware legally for our country.

If the federal government want to buy arms,do you think they will go through the back door.,Nigeria has the ldgal right to probure arms going by international treaty.we 7hould reason before bashing the government.,afterall, that sum of money is too meagre for us to buy arms and ammunition for national use..and also, why must it also be south africa..
Some goverment officia, are the ones doing thisthey use unsuspecting means to ply their evil deal, that was why the CAM presidents jet was used..wGEJ is a smart man,he would not use a sledge harmer to hit the culprits in public,he will first save the country image

All this insult because GEJ is not an Igbo who believes in indigenous production.

Do you know that Ihejirika Ojukwu and co were pioneers of indigenous military products.

Nigeria Igirigi APC and rockets were pioneered by Ihejirika and I stand to be corrected that Ojukwu/Ironsi played crucial roles in Kaduna military industry aka DICON

If Nigeria involve her higher institutions in weapons development all this insult will never take place.

The government don't need to spend a dime. Just give the higher institutions a written promise that you will pay them any money they spend on developing any weapon that meets international standard.

With this written promise, the higher institutions will not only levy the students but approach big organizations for financial support.

You're still missing my point, bud. Our support for politicians/political parties shouldn't be brought into every issue. I'm leaning towards Jonathan but not blindly and will not hesitate to criticise if need be. It is a big embarrassment for our country Nigeria that South Africa, twice within a short period of time, seized cash meant for arms purchase for our military. Take politics out of it.

SA wants to embarrass after we were rated as Africa's largest economy

Questions for you

Why didn't they stop the money when it passed through their CBN. Why is it now the money wants to return back that they stopped it.

Did they contact Abuja for clarification before impounding the money
