To lighten up this thread, lemme ask dis question: Discuss exhaustively, which is preferable, ICAN or ACCA? Give ur answers with cogent reasons. Senior colleagues are not exempted.

I think its a personal thing. From my own understanding, ICAN is our (Nigeria) thing while ACCA is that of UK. The syllabus of ICAN are Nigeria based unlike the ACCA. I can remember vividly when this ACCA came up, people sought after it because of this "live and work in UK thing". Both are respected accounting bodies; so someone can just choose any of them, its a matter of choice. I prefer ICAN though. I stand to be corrected please.
