Please I need response to this from anyone......plz how are u guyz resolving the idea of housing/accommodation after being posted to it ppa? Especially for pple who dos nt live in Lagos or have relatives in Lagos. Even for those that lived in lag but were posted to a ppa farther from their home, how do u resolve all this issues plz.....I need an idea because I will be serving this Nov insha Allah and May be in Lagos....pls ur response will be so helpful. I wasn't given accommodation in my PPA, so i had to get an accommodation for myself close to the place since my parents don't stay here in lagos and for convenience sake also.. So, why planing your service, always map out a Plan A and Plan B in other not to be swept off your feet.... GoodLuck hun in whatever plans you come up with later!

My PPA is in surulere.
My dear, you can't plan with mine but rather plan with your pocket/bank account then your choice of location cos one man's meat is another man's poison ....but make sure you don't go for anything higher than your budget.
Well, i got just a room selfcontain with adequate water&power supply here in surulere, you may be lucky to get posted to an area you can get an affordable rent as here in surulere, rents of any kind are very outrageous bearing in mind the compulsory 2years rents(you maybe lucky to see a landlord that will accept a year or a year and six months but its rare hun), commission and agent fees attached. So, these are the things you should put into consideration while registering in camp as it favoured alot of us as regards to the addresses we provided.
Initially, i was squatting with a friend here in surulere, so that was the address i provided in my Nysc documents in camp, 85% of us all if not more were posted to same LG/area we provided. So, even though you have got no address now to provide, start now to make inquiry for an address to use as it will help influence your PPA posting wrapped up with prayers.....
Alot said already right?LOL....... Well, like dad will always say and i quote.."One step at a time, Calm your tits while on it, once the bridge is approached, one must definitely cross over Insha Allah".....

Okay, sorry if i'm asking too much, but i thought they should be an acceptance before the posting is being put into place? Cos in my own case, i was given an acceptance letter and was asked to come back next two days for my posting/posting letter to the department i will work with....but my clearance was done with the prior acceptance letter and not the internal posting letter ooooooooo

Well darl, let me advise the best i can......two things are involved if you ask me;
1.) There is a tendency stream2 corpers will be given the benefit to get cleared this month whenever one is done cos of lots of irregularities encountered in our posting which wasn't by our making but theirs...My Two cents!LOL
2.) If per adventure the number one doesn't take place and you miss your allawee which is the major purpose of the clearance, "panic not", yes, cos you have got a cogent reason that can hold water... Just proceed to your LG whenever you are done, i assume the procedures for claiming your allawee should be pasted on the wall as we have it here in surulere LG. Just write your letter and state the reasons for your delay and God with you, trust me you will smile after.............but my sister/brother, see if you can go to your LG tomorrow and relay this to them and see what they will tell you, its necessary to stay safer please.

Greetings house... Going by the wave of things, majority if not all have been paid.... This now raises the issue of our beach party. Is everyone ready? Can all arrangements be made and can we have our beach party this week? Or should we slate it for nextweek saturday, so that all arrangements and other stuffs can be done without hassles and rush...
