sometimes it's not what is said, but how the statement is said that is insulting.

The way he said it like he was basically trying to say that he thinks Tayo is dumb.

They called a meeting on what they planned to present and everyone was trying to suggest something. Tayo stood up and said they were wasting time because the task is an individual one so they can't be calling group meetings. Rather anyone who has something to contribute should talk to the HOH rather than call a meeting.

Jj then asked him that what does he (Tayo) want to do, Tayo replies that he pans to make a motivational speech only for JJ to say he's never heard Tayo speak as if Tayo is so dumb he wouldn't be ble to pull it off.

Tayo then exploded and asked why he would say something like that....he then walked out of the room and told Samantha to come along so they can prepare dinner. Samantha followed.

Is Tayo supposed to start speaking so housemates can rate him before his speeach tomorrow, did they ask the dancers to display their moves? It's an individual ish, no be group work.

Anyway, JJ has gone to apologise

Okay, I get it better now with the clarification. And I agree with tayo, last I checked too, the task was meant to be an individual one, so why the family meeting?Especially with the 26voices who keep talking over one another, wasting valuable time meant for each individual to think and be creative with the designs abi na poster. They shouldnt be deliberating on what each housemate decides to do at all.

That being said ,I hope tayo chills a little too, so he doesn't end up like uti in season 3. He should stop gathering nomination offence o.

I miss being an addicted viewer sha, but its all good, the thread has been helping..cool

Tayo really needs a chill pill, hs quarrels are so unnecessary. I mean in 2 days hs had quarrels with lilian,macky 2 n nw JJ.

The only way Tayo will last long in that house with his loud mouth and quarrels, is if he can keep the "Mellishants" dreaming and fantasizing of a possible fuckfest or make-out between Tayo and their/his love interest. If not, Tayo might end up like Nando. Dude is handsome and a charmer, ladies love him, but his quarrels might be his downfall.

make una no just bring this yeye tribalism here.

Last season many Yoruba people supported Elikem over Melvin and were calling him Igbo. This year they brought a Yoruba boy and despite the fact that I'm igbo, I still support Tayo whole-heartedly.

Once again, don't bring tribalism here abeg
storyyyyyyy,tell that to d dude who started it before u start overheating on my post.cos am sure u saw his post before preaching about tribalism to me .yeye dey smell

Exactly. I found it to be sick! Not even 48hrs and they are acting like pigs. Tayo couldn't have done that to any of the other female housemates and not receive a heavy backlash from other Africans. We need to be as vocal and supportive of our own, regardless of the gender.

If Lilian was someone like Karen, those mòrons would've had it coming. Lilian is a fun-loving girl, if not, that act of madness deserves a slap.

Uhmmm I'm kinda confused.
You wanna break it down in simpler English, so I can understand better. Math is really not my forte. Hahaha lipsrsealed

But the list I gave in the initial comment you quoted is simply based on who I think are the least popular, not necessarily voting strength.

Psychedelia and Spade are up for possible eviction.
There are 5 voting blocs.

Angola:
Psych - 49% || Spade - 51%

Botswana:
Psych - 48% || Spade - 52%

Ghana:
Psych - 49% || Spade - 51%

Nigeria:
Psych - 49% || Spade - 51%

Zambia:
Psych - 87% || Spade - 13%

Under the previous arrangement, Psychedelia would be back in Owerri looking for cyanide after getting thrashed 4-1 by Spade; but under the new system, he'd emerge victorious because his total bloc percentage (when divided by 5) would be 56.4, while Spade's would be 43.6.
Get it? wink

Anyway, I see what you're saying. But it's still quite early.

Wait a sec, are we talking about the dude that said melvin was dull earlier, is he the same person that is now accusing Tayo of being dull... nd he said he isn't anti naija?
Being anti naija does not make you a Ghana boy as Dannyxy suggested earlier.

You were not contented with simply warning him against sticking his head in a dark hole and making simple minded generalizations, you had to attack another tribe because your tribe was attacked....

ermm! Why do you(Nigerians) like referring to Ghanains as
Ghana boy?

@ embolden, same way you attack people that mistakenly spell "Ghanaians" wrongly, last year. Don't you think you'd have dropped this "correcting" tendencies of yours, last year, especially seeing that you have spelled your country's name wrongly too?

Same way you made a mistake, is the same way those posters made their comments without any sinister intent. Stop the nitpicking bro, it is childish.

Pls you guys should hide your tribalism here. We don't need it here. We sent Nigerian representatives, which has nothing to do with whatever tribes they come from.
So pls allow us enjoy our show in peace and take your tribal sentiments else where.
Thanks for your cooperation.

This formula is so not fair on other countries, Nigeria would get enough vote from ROA ans other countries to neutralize their deficits...
Anyhow u look at it, Nigeria would get some percentage in every country cos we dey everywhere...
This na easy win for us

1. Tayo wasnt really in support of jj co-ordinating the task prep. Talk. He felt laveda should handle it since shes the HOH.
2. In the task, they are to do an individual presentation. Which can also be a talent show. Okay so jj asked Tayo what he would be presenting 2moro and he said motivational talk. And jj goes can you present it cos i've never heard you talk.
3. The fact that tayo jokes and plays a lot does not mean he doesnt have his serious side. Besides i heard arthur say he would do comedy and ella singing and he didnt question them. I agree arthur is playful bt i cant picture him as a comediane neither have i seen ella join the singing crew.
I feel tayo felt disrespected by the way jj singled him out.

Babes u are getting it all wrong by doubting Arthur

Guess u didn't watch the talent launch show

The guy cracked my ribs during that 1min sections

So never say never my dear

C'mon bro, I'm talking of your incessant "correcting" of people on last year's thread. You did it all through last year, and have continued this year. Sometimes it's just innocent posts that you always think was made to subtly diss your country.

Even on this thread, all your posts is about when GH was mentioned. Your contribution is just to quote posts with "Ghana's" name on it. It's not a bad thing, just saying, you'd relax and stop trying to find fault in everything said about Ghana.

For your info, he's a boy, and if called Ghana boy, there's nothing wrong with it. Go listen to Nigerian songs and hear our musicians say "I'm a Naija boy forever" steadily.
