The school said they will not be about to review her GA application until next month which might be kinda late because she wants to get an early date for her interview. My question is can she collect the I-20 without the GA, pay for sevis with it and all then have them resend the updated I-20 with GA for her interview.

Ofcourse. She can collect the one without GA and pay for the sevis and when they finally award her the GA she can order for new i-20.

Better still she can still request for the scanned copy to get the details to pay her sevis fee, fill her ds160 and also book appointment. If the decision is taking time more than expected, then she should request for the i-20 without GA using private courier.

hello gurus in the house.
pls I am confused on what to indicate on my i20 request form in section of dependents.
a- they won't join me at all
b- join later when am settled
c- travelling with me now.

I would like them to join me later. should I just go on and tick option b( to join me when am settled). what are the consequences ? would this reflect on i20? hope additional fund won't be needed or indicated for dependants?

Slimshady, which school did the cyber forensic guy applied to. I also need Etisalat call cards. The N6,500 I recharged two days ago's gone and i'm unhappy about it:-)

main Abuja Embassy date is really flying the closest date in Abuja is 2nd Dec while Lagos is still at 21st Oct.

I have been given an admission by the school..my i20 and admission letter is with me..but I just kinda scared if d VO sud ask of how they are related...the school is university of Baltimore.

I thought they meant valid for 6 months and not 6 months old. Your passport is valid for 4 years sef. So I think you are good to go.

They are referring to validity.. Which meant you must have 6 months left before your passport expire... Its not the day you apply or get a new passport they are talking about there..

The best for you is to go for interview latest a week before your school resumes... Although there is 120 days rules before resumption also which an applicant go make use of by going to the embassy early..

I checked the appointment page yesterday and was shocked to see 2nd December, 2014 as the earliest Abuja date. I guess people are running for Lagos VOs. I am also expecting my I-20. I can't imagine traveling to Lagos from Abuja because of date o. I just pray there will be available date in November by the time my I-20 arrives

Sevis payment is possible if the school scan I-20 to him but he cant take the scan copy to the interview
