finaly i was able 2 locate d problem. D cable conectin d multi tv dish 2 d disec is faulty cos i used a direct cable 2 my decoda and it works. Thx 2 u all 4 ur concern am gr8ful

According George D post on satellite frequencies, pls that satellite on 22w, what is the size of dish to track that bird down in Nigeria, or has anyone tracked that bird, let the person report to the house about the outcome, i mean the KU band tp.

@Graham4luv. MBC package is on Nilesat 102 @ 7° W,Tp 11938 V DVB-S 27500-3/4.
The last time I checked it took a minimum of 400 cm pan dish to pull the bird down in Warri,
South-South Nigeria.

@graghicicon.Turn the dish clockwise,while maintaining the elevation setting for DSTV,by about 158" towards the West.Watch the screen of your TV as you do so.
Note:Clockwise when standing at the back of the dish or to the left when standing in front of the dish.

I was using inverto black ultra quad lnb on my 3meter dish in enugu then replaced it with MTI high-line ak54xt2n quad lnb which gave more signal on BBC on nilesat 201 compared to inverto.."someone picked up eutelsat at 7.3west ( MENA BEAM) with 3m dish with an lnb in Onitsha.."he will deliver the lnb to me this weekend for test. if the lnb performs better on my current set-up..then it will be recommended "
