Please i need someone to prove me wrong? Each time i pass through AWKA i always feel like "OMG,what devil is behind the underdevelopment of the capital of anambra state" Umuahia is a mess,Awka is a very big mess. Even the construction of the flyover in the city is being handled by what can be called a 'localistic local construction company' lol.... In my own opinion AWKA needs government's intervention, truly! Construction companies such as ARAB CONTRACTORS OR JULIUS BERGER(recommended) will do wonders and change the face of that town. In housing though,AWKA is not doing bad. But the town(for now its just a town) needs to be planned, roads construct ed with flyovers just give AWKA the uyo treatment and it will be the no.1 city in nigeria. 3 Likes |

Kasynpaulsyn1997:Arab contractors are not even one of the best. The roads they did in Enugu are already falling apart. |

One or two world-class projects can be handled by the likes of Julius Berger; but Anambra -for now- doesn't have the funds to use JB on a regular basis like Akwa Ibom does! 1 Like |

Sincere9gerian: It's unfortunate of you to make the comment in quote. In case you don't know, two contractors handled the roads reconstruction project in Enugu and they are SETRACO and Arab Contractors. Arab contractors excelled in the job while Setraco constructed substandard roads. All the roads constructed by Arab contractors are still in good shape. The ones did by Setraco like Holy ghost round about are falling apart. Please point fingers at the right quarter. I can't just keep quiet while you feed Nigerians with misinformations. |

Please i need someone to prove me wrong? Each time i pass through AWKA i always feel like "OMG,what devil is behind the underdevelopment of the capital of anambra state" Even after their messiah spent 8years as Governor. A man who could not develop his State's Capital where he sits wants to transform Nigeria? Are Obideens okay? |
