i just remembrd anoda practical xampl===> lets say; three(A,B&C) ppl wrote JAMB and dey all chose d same course &chose U.I. A=scored 120/400, B=scored 181 and C=scored 199. Afta,d release of d Jamb result. Only B&C were legible to do jamb-change-of-course/institution to UNIOSUN(cutoff-180), stil applyd for d same course respectivly. Now do u nw say they WILL 1st consider C-who scored 199 before considering B-who scored 181?? Am sure dat analysis wunt work here! Now lets relate my illustration to U.I nw.... A=is some1 dat scored below 50% in Putme. B=is some1 wit lower score &C=is some1 with higher score dan B....." read it and relate d illustrationz vry well! U analysis cnt wrk here, i guess it will b based on some criterias wic ar unknwn& luck. It cnt b on ur ANALYSIS on dat. U cn ask U.I students dey wil abt dis.

i guess wot dey need check in d O'level result are d 5/6 relevant subjects for dat course/department wic are; Mathematics,Economics,English&Geography and anyoda subject....Maths&Econz wic are d most important subjects 4economics ar both of d same grade,so any1 of dem is good to go. But, to me, i think d Neco is more fanimorous! Doe waec mayb more recognisd.....

"A friend just told me now dat she woz sent d message and she said d website to upload it is invalid" She made a mistake its nt web-address....its an email address. So,plz dnt make d mistake. What u are to do is go to a cafe, log in to ur email adress den scan ur O'level Result and send to dierz==>ugadmissions.ui.edu.ng. And for doz dat dint recieve jst like me lets keep checkn our email address &phone msg-inboxes, til lyj tomorow... Just incase!

my friends did, one is in college of medicine. Human Nutrition &dietics.....they said dey've rily tightend it up......it made me start beefn d so calld MBBS.... u all talk abt 6.0+points lyk its beans ba?........ Wel, my view on doz aiming on crossing, to MBBS or LAW tru interfaculty or so, if dat is ur DREAM and u rilly av PASSION 4 it,dn't b discourage on woteva dey say or aw much dey tighten it up. Just get in 1st instead of stayn @home, b happy doin d course u're bn offered and work towardz it &with prayerz and ur fate, u may get it. Doz rulez flunctuate,&are flexible "One thing i believe in GRACE &DESTINY is dat, dey speak 4u when u're not there"

1st of all, u misconstrued what I do here on NL. I'm not cynical! I'm only critical constructively. I don't find faults! I simply correct faults!

The more u talk about staff pikin list, the more u expose the illegality in UI's admission to the authority, cos staff pikin lobby is illegal. NUC or JAMB never stipulated that admission shld be based on staff pikin criteria. So stop exposing UI!

There are some C.O.C courses which are still vacant. UI wld feel obliged to discreetly pick candidates with high scores, who trooped themselves en mass to a particular C.O.C, and fix them in those vacant courses. They are goin to do that using high score criteria, as against random selection. They did it b4!

Also, pple short of their cutoff by 1-2marks ll surely get their initial course in The supplementary list ... It append last year nd d upper one....... I so much hate seein pple misled..... Everyone's entitled to their beliefs but don't go proposing one kind of bullshit opinion as an acceptable dogma. How will any sane rational person say that copper has a better face value than gold. How would a candidate with 76 anywhere have the same chances with 79. Get REAL. And please stop with all the wrong and misleading information, how would you claim 100% certainty just to be wrong later as regards the same subject and still have the guts to post further trash

1. Have you ever heard of the word misplaced objective (priority)? Moving from MBBS to other department/faculty is not "moving down". I wish I can elaborate more on this.
2. Why that department specifically? What is your motive? To the better of my understanding, "misguided / misinformed" (with all due respect to involved personnel) MBBS students that are dillusional that MBBS is the "la creme of the society" will prefer Biology, Chemistry et al to move to since it is in line with the "ALMIGHTY MBBS".
3. Stop being sentimental. "OAU, UNIBEN, UNN, UNILORIN, UNILAG,FUTA" just to mention a few.
Note: At this "cross road", I think I need to point out that I have no grudges for MBBS students and I am aspiring for Mathematics come next year in UI.

U made me spoke abt it by arguin ! not dat i jst startd postn such stuffs here,u were proving nothing as such exists.....i guess nw u admit,u suld av done dat earlier b4 nw..... Coz nw dat u're paintn me black. And again Ur posts shouldnt b bias,coz dere are diffrnt categories of ppl on dis thrend.2) My research with 200lvl students was dat as far as COC/FBC Admission is concerned, U.I takes al scorez equal,...coz i woz tld der ar some of deir frndz in dier various deptmnts who were admittd wit scores blow d cutoff point. "Except dey Decide to consider doz wit 1/2marks below dier cutoff marks 4 dier Initial courses(who becomes exemtd)......<i'm in d category,so i wish dey do>" Well,as 4me i pray evry1 of us here gets admitted dats my wish&happiness....no fight! No qualmz,we're jes sharing thoughts,i gues its allowd! And if der are Current U.I students of eida 100lvl/200lvl on dis thrend,den lets ask 4dier view on dis!

Now who's the most important person in a country?...... Everyone! Just as MBBS, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Law,.....Econ....., CLA....., Integrated Science......, Agric Engr......, Adult Edu....., and so on are equally important!

So you see, a course would have to be used as a stereotype when citing an instance. When MBBS is used, it is used because of the attention given to it and the affinity!

The U.S is considered the world power because of it's giant economy. So, whether u like it or dislike it, whether u accept it or reject it, whether u study maths or statistics, MBBS is considered the number ONE in virtually all schools because of those factors I listed above!

That's the fact!
