try it out on my 4m pan and see how it will fare on nilesat. But yours could come in faster as I don't have time on my hand right now.

@George..i will look for the pauxis twin lnb in the market on monday, i will report feedback ASAP...

In the meantime the lnb i was waiting for has arrived it happens to be Digisat twin lnb, with noise figure of 0.2db and conversion gain of 70dB,same specification with mti highline.. it will be compared with mti highline lnb, i will give you feedback by tomorrow...

Hello house, i went into alaba market today in search of 1.2m pan dish but unfortunately i was told it is not in the market. Do anyone have an idea if this is available here in nigeria and if yes i will need the location?

Am not an installer, but through info from the guru on this forum i was able to track My TV, Multi TV and Amos 5 with all hiting green but my main challenges is that all Channel on Amos 5 are scramble mean lock except DISH & CCTV.

1.Can someone please assist me with info on how to get FTA on amos 5, as most (not all) of the channels appear same as DSTV channel

2. My decoder is Str 4940 can it work with biss key


3 if the answer to Q2 is no which of the below decoder will give the best in term of FTA

a. CLOUD IBOX 2+ PLUS HD FTA SATELLITE RECEIVER DVBS 2 IPTV READY FREE TO AIR LINUX.

b. Viewsat 9000 HD

c. Sonicview 8000 HD.

if u use 11884 V 27500 to track amos, if u dont careful, u will end up on dstv position because that freq & symbol is on dstv to.use joytv as ur starting point, stand at the back of ur joytv & track 2 ur right of joy tv.note is above joy tv to ur right

you did not track Amos 5, u tracked DSTV.

for Amos 5, to get the most out of it, track with 10804 v 3000, get a signal then blindscan.

@Aydot9. And NO you cannot input BISS keys in 4940.In fact the decoder hasn't got support whatsoever.Switch to 4922A.

I don't why 4922a is rated so high. My mini x4 decoder which uses surplus chipset gives me better signal quality and is much faster than the strong. In fact I gave my strong 4922a decoder to a relation to use.

@odilibe. Examining the results critically, I think Digisat quad lnb will outperform mti ak54xt2n quad lnb.Thats in my humble opinion anyway.What do you think?
