After the SA misadventure just watch and see how NIG will start brushing them. We did same with Ghana now they are cool with NIG

You did what with Ghana?

There is a reason why Nigeria would always be a fcked up country, there is something fundamentally wrong with the way you guys think.

How foolish can people get? The Federal Government tried smuggling so much money to the tune of 2 billion naira into South Africa illegally, they were apprehended due to the country's laws, a leader of CAN's jet was used, the cash was seized, they tried smuggling half the same amount through almost the same methods again, the cash was seized again, the PDP members of the National Assembly voted against it being discussed, now South Africa has agreed to return the money and it's a thing of credit and celebration to GEJ and if you reproach the government on this embarrassing act you're termed a bokoharam supporter like some people did on the front page, my people how foolish can we get in this country..CHAI

we can see what Lagos state transformed into in 16years of APC rule. From other south western states the APC rule ,we can all see they have a clear road map.A few years to come all APC states will be ahead of other parts of Nigeria.

Unemployed ,jobless, myopic, tribalistic GEJ supporters, get a life! Come 2015,we shall see who has the numbers
APC Transform over rated Lagos? FYI Lagos state was ones a federal capital territory. And as such already at an advantage. Besides which APC state is ahead of PDP state in Nigeria in terms of development? Or are you talking about the exaggerated low rate job employment ruse with no value that pays chicken feets as salaries?

If you believe the arms deal in South Africa was money laundering, why don't you go to their embassy and cry your heart out telling them they were wrong to release the money?

Look at this one? South Africa had already concluded plans to release the money to Nigeria right before OBJ even learn about it. I don't blame you anyway, International politics is way too advanced for you to understand.

That is if the weapons were made for the milatary in the first place. Since the botched arms deal our military have had serious gains against the terrorists. This makes me marvel as to who the weapons were truly meant for . If at all were for the military, why have boko haram not finished them and it is now the other way round?

We are not boko haram supporters. Do you really think the real plan is to use the money for weapons? Some government officials are making money off boko haram insurgency. Why didn't the government Carry cash when they could wire the money

What about the money for the 2nd transaction that was wired? And it was seized...next time read with an open mind b4 you comment

It is with trepidation that I read some poster's comment. For those saying that the FG will frustrate MTN, Shoprite etc's businesses, please note that Nigeria does not operate in a Vacuum.

Remember what our Igbo brothers and other traders are going through in Ghana. Glo, Dangote, our banks all have interest all over Africa. If we start a precedence of taking over businesses of other countries' companies especially after breaking their laws, that is when you all we know we ordinary giANT of Africa. Note that we are signatories to treaties covering money laundering to international trade.

Think of examination bodies who have their exams outside Nigeria, of birth tourism our married ladies embark on (even to East/South African countries), of Holidays (Nigerians will rather go to kenya Safari than Obodu) etc

We are unnecessarily arrogant. Look at the raw deal meted out to the son of Aisha Falode & Alameisigha in Dubai as well as other less popular Nigerians without anything happening. What happens if in the future, things happen to Nigerians living in South Africa just like synagogue's, what moral or diplomatic authority will we have then to insist on fairness and the rule of law.

Please tone down the rhetorics in your post. It is only the evil minded that gloats over things like this. As for poster who have hard evidence that the weapons were to be purchased for Boko Haram, ask the FG what it has done with over 4 trillion Naira budget on defence in the last four years that spending $15m now became so important.

Well, the Bible says that "my people perish for lack of knowledge...". I hope that as a nation/people we are not already on this path.

Let me ask you a very simple question.

Do you really think looted funds cannot be wired to SA? So in your understanding, only looted cash can be transferred by cash while legit money is only transferred electronically?

Learn to speak positively about your country please. Our leaders are corrupt but I believe their corruption is largely exaggerated.
