The festering cholera epidemic has now affected more than 22,000 people in all the ten regions of Ghana. At least 170 of those affected have died in different parts of the country. I heard about this last month or so. Its a shame that it is going unreported in western media. I suppose ebola has taken centre stage, understandably so. 170 people dead, is no joking matter though. I hope Ecowas is looking into how Ghana can be assisted. |
