I almost replied him in anger but thank God 4 d gentle spirit that overshadowed me. DrLaz, seriously that wasn't fair at all. That some of us decided 2 exercise patience till nxt yr if eventually things didn't work out as expected does not mean those that took d opportunity are fools or cheap undergraduates! It's also possible U were just trying 2 pull ppl's legs but d joke was too expensive! It's only an advice my dear friend nd 'senior colleague,' no insults or embarrassments meant at all.

From the look of things,i strongly believe that the newly admitted aspirants are likely to resume around march/april,considering the fact that the second semester is designated to end on the 13th of febuary(the second semester break is always long)who else shares the same sentiment with me?

My guy, Basic is a very sweet program. There u will meet people from all spheres of life. For Petroleum engr u will need a minimum score of 60%(i.e combination of both 1st and 2nd semester exam) to qualify for CONSIDERATION though it depends on the general Perfomance level. But to be on a safer side, put your target on 80 and above. The truth is dat those from educationally less developed states are greatly considered compared to the others. It consists of two semester at the end of which u will sit for OBJ based test of 50 questions each in Physics, Chemistry, English, Math and Biology. These subjects are compulsory regardless of your course. U may be intimidated by the number of persons in your department but dont be because everybody's path differs. Lastly I recommend Jehovah Jireh to u as your Sole helper based on personal experience. Ex basic students can also ad to this. Thanks

Hmmmm,my experience is short and simple from my point of view,its expressway to gain admission easily if u can score average mark like 25 per course but U MUST COME FROM ELIGIBLE STATE mentioned in the brochure for u to be 98% sure of admsn and the course u applied for,even come from RIVERS and 15 in all the courses,u must gain admsn but they may not give u wat u applied for
