Reminds me of the good old days
In b/W let me ask ooooo
Why is Arabic inscription always inscribed on naira notes(guess the practice has been ancient)
Is Nigeria an Arabic state or had we in anytime colonised by the Arabians?

Probably because English wasn't really spoken or taught in Northern Nigeria as opposed to the South. Even nowadays, a higher percentage of Northern Nigeria can read and write in Arabic as opposed to reading and writing English.

Mind you, education is education whether Arabic or Western. Just that the type of education received in Northern Nigeria is usually narrow and focused on the Koran.

Very true. Africa got tired of civilizing the world and started getting "civilized" from outside.
Philosophy is not indigenous to Greece (gris means grey, a mix of black & white)

The first european universities were introduced into Southern Europe from Africa in 700s AD.That is how europe learnt how to circumnavigate the globe.

well, we have to know where we're coming from in order to know where we're going.

I get your point, however, lacking history is to be likened to having no history.
