Is that all you can say? Is that all the youths in the country? How a criminal corp member now represents all the million youths in Nigeria is a challenge to me in your post. Stop using some kind of criminal incidence to justify the Buhari's return. I am not going to agree to your rumors and attempt to paint all the youths in Nigeria with criminal activities. Yes, there are still good youths out there. We should start to look for them by now. They should come out and stop hiding because this is their time to help dislodge the old crooks and move the country forward.

I knew way back Buhari is going to return with his cronies before the presidential candidate plan. I can read him like a book and tell you he is coming back to show that the North is meant to rule that nation by birth-right. You are really sick to think he is the right person for Nigeria. Why must it be about Buhari?

The pertinent question you should be asking yourself is who else is worthy?

Firstly, as a former head of state, Buhari is entitled to a monthly allowance under the "former head of state act" through which he can pay the loan. Secondly, separating the men from the boys in this context refers to streaming down the contest to the real contenders and weed.ing off the jokers.

Apc cannot murder democracy, democracy with reference to murder is being murdered in Taraba by the mighty PDP where an incapacitated fellow parades as Governor, democracy is being murdered in Ekiti where thugs tell judges the routine, democracy is being murdered in Adamawa where we just came out of a circus.

Any patriotic Nigerian still following a party whose national leader "the president" has corrupted the word corruption needs to remove the "pat" from "patriotic" and be referred to as "riotic Nigerian"

That quote is an act of terrorism. Killing yourself to kill others along.

That is the question that needs an answer. Not all youths are busing playing around on irrelevant things. Just that many good ones are wary of young people like you who don't give them the courage to come out and be confident of your backings.

APC wan raise money from form take build secretariat.

N27 for one form is stealing...

Like Musiwa said, I can't buy form for N1m...

If APC makes the form 1million, every tom dick and harry would buy..

Don't pretend you don't know how corrupt our leaders are..

27 million is chicken change for the least politician in Nigeria, but let's just pretend and keep a decent face..

Anybody that comes up with 27mill would be tagged a thief..

Should I count to you how many people in the present day govt that can afford 27mill?

Ordinary Reuben Abati can afford 27 mill as he is nao, but would keep a clean face like he aint even worth 2 million naira..

Everybody is a thief in Nigeria but its whom they catch that is a Barawo.. So pls do everything possible not to make them catch u.. If you come out and say u have 27mill and they catch you, its ur fault, but the truth is that most of all these bastards have more than 1 billionaire each..

Its humbling to know Buhari doesn't have upto 27 mill..

There are cheap lies I can't accept. How can a sane bank grant loan to buhari knowing fully well he is on a wild goose chase again just like he's been since 2003. Banks are smarter than that except they are targetting to inherit a huge collateral and I can vividly remember that the general once said he has no property anywhere. Also APC seperating men from boys means they uphold money at the expense of quality leadership. With that statement from the party chairman, APC has just murdered democracy and should be ignored by any meaningful and patriotic Nigerian. My thoughts though undecided
it is nt ur thought only, it shld be d thought of every sane and responsible nigerian...with all due respect to age, dis man has a big problem. I recall his last campaign where he said dat he wld nt cme bck if he loses dat election, which he did(thank God fr dat). He tinks we are fools. "Seperating boys frm men" which means dat dey choose a leader based on his/her pocket. For dat, i say APC does nt deserve to win. I hope dat i am speaking d mind of my fellow Nigerians. We d younger generation shld nt allw dis old men to go on with their selfish nd greedy exploitations. IS it only their families dat deserve good life, gud health care, gud education abroad. I condeming anyone, bt d actions of this old men shld nt be allwed to repeat itself. Pls my fellow nairalanders, lets put an end to dis rubbish, although a lt of people has said dis bt I TINK IT IS TIME WE GET UP FRM OUR BEDS AND FACE THE RUBBISH DAT THESE OLD MEN HAVE BEEN DOING (IBB, ATIKU, BUHARI etc). Pls let d nigerian youths rethink about their future, cos it is nt dis man dat will ensure a bright future fr us. We can do it. #TEAM NIGERIA#

EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT CHUNK OF THAT MONEY WAS SPENT ON CAMPAIGN AND LOGISTIC NOT TO PURCHASE THEIR PARTY NOMINATION FORM AND REMEMBER THEY RAISE MONEY THROUGH FUNDRAISING AND CAMPAIGN DONORS NOT THROUGH BANK LOANS! That reminds me the typical way of behaving of a particular section of nigeria!
the seed money for a campaign has to come from somewhere.for clinton's first election for congress,it was a bank loan for $10,000,for barack obama's losing run to the senate,it was his savings.in america, you win your party's nomination by proving you can run a campaign and win.generally, you need to create a momentum that can garner enough speed as to get your party's funds and backing.do you think buhari will pay for his own campaign?most of the funds will be raised by his party.but buhari first has to scale a hurdle which is the nomination form.I quite agree 27.5million is high.but its the standard the party has set for itself and if buhari wants to contest under the party, then he should show that he has what it takes to raise the funds which in infinitessimal in comparison to the billions required for a nationwide presidential campaign.anyone who still lives in the fantasy realm that postulates that ideas alone are enough in politics is a dreamer.

Besides, the actual transcript didn't say buhari took a bank loan.it says buhari called the chairman of the bank saying whenever he sends a cheque across,it should be honoured based on their good relationship.it didn't say manager,it said chairman.and then buhari said the chairman said he shouldn't wait, rather,he should drop the cheque while still in abuja and it will clear.call it a donation from the chairman or call it a loan,it matters not.a politician leverages on good relationships which is what buhari has done.besides anybody that thinks any bank in nigeria will loan buhari 27.5million naira with intention of getting it back is actually an indomie-generation kid who doesn't know what clout buhari holds

Personally,I don't think buhari should run.I have always maintained that buhari should retire.he is not the only anti-corrption crusader in this country neither is he the only hope.I will personally prefer a fashola,a donald duke or kwakwanso to a buhari presidency.besides, the APC seems to have reached an internal arrangement to allow only northerners contest the presidency.while I have nothing against northerners,I have plenty against zonal democracy.every nigerian irrespective of tribe or religion should be allowed to test their mettle so long as the meet the constitutional requirements of the country and the party.

Buhari had 12million votes last time, those votes will come in even if buhari isn't running.infact more will come in because of the failure of jonathan.I sincerely hope buhari withdraws and backs another candidate.that will certainly mean success for APC

They would continue to be leaders of tomorrow when people like you all you know is to

1. Make quick money True, but it was inculcated by our present leaders
2. Not have big dreams for yourselves Correct, i support this. Those who have big dreams, the dreams have turned to nightmares
3. Spend all you have on women and their likes Hmmm, bros, you self nor dey do am? Our leader thought us the way to follow
4. Not being patriotic enough Very True
5. Coming to nairaland to rant about anything and everything when you should take steps to see it solved. This is the only medium they can use to vent out their anger. Do you want them to face stern looking military personnel? "Zombie"
6. Not holding your public office holders accountable for their deeds. Very correct but we need reorientation in this field
7. Hating eachother as countrymen Hmmmmmm, that is hitting the nail on the head. No united front of facing these corrupt leaders. They would always use religion and language against us.
8. Always being biased about issues rather than see and face things logically and pragmatically. (Case of pdp and apc supporters). Very true, i do not see any difference between APC (Aspirin Phensic Capsule) and PDP (PaDi Padi Party)
9. Having the i-dont-care-mentality. My brother, they have to take their eyes off. Remember, if you can't beat them, you join them
10. Not standing up and fighting for your right. The last time i remember hearing Right, it was a turning not civil right. What does anyone know about your rights? When you are accosted on the road by a Policeman (who is supposed to be the rights upholder), he/she, the illiterate, tries to intimidate the literate because he has a gun. It is so bad in Nigeria.

These are the reasons why leaders of yesterday are still your leaders today because you never grow up.

@redcliff my response in bold above.

I am sorry if it seems like i am against you on some points, but the truth be said, Nigerians have lost so much dignity. A Nigerian youth does not know what he stands for, so he falls for everything. The little that knows, people like you are seen in bad light, as someone who is "not in the flow of things"

listen man, unless nigeria has a system in place like the UK to where thieves are fully prosecuted ( i think a house of parliament member is in jail for running only 10,000 pounds on his state given credit card ), but anyway unless nigeria has a system like that in place, i think you need to stop this your idealistic youth nonsense. there are no youths in nigeria who would do the right thing without a system in place to keep them in order. so quit your nonsense. the youths are the worst. imagine ibori and bankole dimeji. these are nigerian youths right ? well not exactly youths but they are political youths. kleptocrats the whole lot of them
