Defence companies always have systems,ready to be sold.

So buying off-the-shelf hardware is quick and "silent".

They seem to perform really well in combat,the Tanzanians are using them in the DRC.

Kenya Defence Forces Day

Kenya is open in-terms of freedom of expression and media but still, Its kinda scary when he starts to have a habit of wearing full military uniform though, considering the history of African heads of state who had/have a habit of doing so. I know he means well to show support and boost morale for the military especially in these trying times but he shouldn't sort of make it a habit, at least in the eyes of civilians

Yeah there has been a bad reputation of dictators and rebels but lets hope he intends to change that perception. he has been doing great work lately lets hope he can change that mentality in Affrica

i don't think it has to do with African leaders being influenced by the uniform.

take Nigeria for instance. our current president puts on a uniform in any important military occasion but remains the best democratic leader we have since more than 3 decades of military rule.

It is a Chinese WZ551 IFV mounted with ATGM's at ADD, not south-african.
