Congrats buddy....
Don't worry yourself about the timeline given because it's getting faster now.....more of 18 months from what I'm monitoring now which i believe will get faster.
Cheers
.
Does that means those that received PER this year December will not be called upon by Accra next year.
Will I still keep my POF there. Because I used fixed deposit.
Thanks

I use mine as a point of contact to all intending and awaiting applicants for positive response regarding your application.
For those of us just starting now, please persist and forge ahead...the journey of a thousand years starts with just a step.
By this time of last year,I was in similar stages like most of you.
I wish you all the very best in all endeavors.

Hello everyone,

I need your advice about the Canada program. According to the Canadian website, the Express Entry will start next year January that means that current Federal Skilled worker Program will end this December. My question is, can I start the process now or should I wait for the express entry in January? I really want to start now but I am sure that I cannot make ready all the necessary documents before the end of this year. Should I start or wait till next year ?

I wait for your guidance / advice.

Thanks
Start, if u don't meet up... u go for EE!

Alhamdulilahi. I just received my PER today. Exactly 1 week after my card was charged.

Damkollins & Solomonwis,

I saw on CIC website that it takes approximately 31 months for ACCRA to process application after they receive a complete application package. Is it true?

Congrats, when was your application received?
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Therecruiter: 3:13pm On Oct 17, 2014
Why not visit the CIC website so you can make an informed decision?

Please go to: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

ONLY THE NOCs listed here are eligible for FSW2014

And from what i can see, mo, NOC 6552 is not on the list.

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by okejji: 6:59pm On Oct 17, 2014
You dont need to worry for now. But i suggest dat just u print as the fix deposite is due to liquidate. Just print it and keep for any eventuality. FD is normally liquidated monthly, 3months, 6 months or yearly as the case be. Just before it derminates just print it nd keep. If you put it for 3 months for example, and u renew it evry 3 months, before you deminate it print nd keep. Be doing dat evry 3months until they request for POF. If d money is actually for immigration you can do dat. Or u can still use it nd later fixed b4 they request.
